WOW, that last NOD wave is DAMN aggressive! :O They just go all out to attacking that Scrin spacecraft.
If you push northwest a little, you will find a truck that carries some money. Might be worth to attack it.

Heh, what a coincidence - I reached this mission last night, and I will play it later today :)
This mission would be more fun if the dropships are programmed to crash land outside the nearby city or even on the plateau previously housing the Nod base, giving players an option to rescue multiple groups of survivors for more infantry, a few armoured units or cash crate. Requires extending the mission to make that relevant, though. Something similar had been done later in RA2's nuke silo sabotage mission.
Devs probably never thought of sending reinforcements by amphibious means..... Could've been a good chance to introduce the amphibious APC early.
Not a bad idea. But remember the devs said they 'rushed' this game and many things were discarded before release.
For example originally the dropship was buildable and inside the Kodiak you can have elite units variants of the basic ones that you can deploy in the missions, very identical to the Hyperion on Starcraft 2.
It is such a disturbing coincidence that the ion storm appeared without warning while the dropships were about to land. In multiplayer, at least a few seconds are given to let players land their aircraft.

I will check out that mod when I finish the campaigns on Hard using your videos to guide me.
How do you set baracks waypoint?

It seems you're not aware of medics' guard area function. To activate it on a single medic, double-click him. Otherwise, select any number of medics then press G. It has a long reach. Medics on guard command would run to almost the distance of artillery range to heal friendly infantry. Gets annoying sometimes when you need them close but they keep running off into the distance just to heal a friendly stepping on Tiberium 😂
I'm aware of the medics' guard area ability. In this mission, you have to keep them behind the units and manually order them to heal the wounded soldiers, because otherwise, they will run close to the enemies during the attack.
@@hdw hmm... Usually I just attach 3 medics for every 6 to 9 infantrymen and let them tank hits together. At least 2 medics per squad regardless of squad strength. My method may not be the best, though
made it look way easier than it actually is. It really sucks you this game has no mission select or ability to change your difficulty. GDI campaign has too many cheap levels
