Hay, Rich, my name is Stephanie Sims, I'm thinking about starting a delivery business for seniors (groceries and meds), and I would like to know what GPS APP you use when you are tracking your speed. I'm looking at the HJM tri hauler 1000 Wrear mounted motor and the TK Pro. Which one would you recommend. I live in a small town in Nevada (Winnemucca) very hilly. I'm really leaning towards the HJM trike. Thank you Stephanie Sims
HI Stephanie, great question so we will add this to our next video. But for now, I use an app called "Speedometer" it simple, free and works well. AS for the trike, the TK Pro has a defect specific to hills so I could not recommend it. Otherwise it would have been a great choice as its very powerful on the hills. If you want to know more, check out Gary's eBike Adventures, he has large hills and he has a couple of videos about it. The Trihauler is a great trike, but I don't have hills to test it on. Again, Gary has the Pro model and I would recommend his videos to see how it performs. But in my opinion, the better option for about the same price would be the Meet One Tour Lite. The lite model as one motor and one battery, amazing quality and performance, large rear basket and the one small hill i had, it rolled right up with no effort. But I do have the Tour model that has two motors and two batteries. So if its in your budget, Meet One Tour is by far the better option. meetonetrike.com/EBIKEREVIEWSADVENTURES
Hi Richard I just saw the video of you changing the throttle on your bike. My question is, do you think I could change the throttle on my HJM Trihauler Fat Tire cargo Pro?
@@stephaniesims9728 Not Richard, but I have the HJM Trihauler Pro. Got it almost a month ago. I really like it. I have about 1000 miles on it. Anyhoo, I increased the speed from 16 to around 29. Got scared a little. It's a trike. Back down to 20ish. So it's doable.
Richard, I found the Q&A video interesting and entertaining to watch. Have you done any reviews on the RATTAN bikes? I have a RATTAN Pathfinder 26" that I really enjoy, but I wish there were more options in the 24" size bikes. Have you reviewed many 24" bikes? Keep up the good work and maybe we'll cross paths on the Florida trails.
Thanks for the question. Rattan recently reach out to me and we had an agreement. Then they Ghosted me and I have not heard anything more from them. There are so few 24" bikes on the market that I have not tested any. I have encouraged a few companies to make them but so far no one has.
I have recently been doing research on e-bike trikes for myself. I live in an area that has a few short yet steep inclines that I would need to climb to get back to my house. Can you tell me what e bikes are great climbers. I have been eyeballing Mooncool but now I have seen the Meet0ne bike. I would like something that folds easily to take on vacation.
Great question, we will answer in our next video but no need to wait. The Meet One Tour is amazing but does not fold and is heavy to transport. The Meet One Breeze I don't have yet, so I can't speak to that one. The Mooncool TK Pro is very powerful and can take on the hills, but hard to know how well it would do for you in your area. You would want a 750w motor but also look at the torque rating. Anything closer to 90nm or above is ideal for taking on the hills.
I had a battery explode on me! Fell asleep next to it (the battery) in my R.V.. Awoke with a load bang! To see the battery spitting fire like a flare! Flames reaching the ceiling! Lucky to have a fire extinguisher nearby! Had only seconds to put the fire out! CLOSE CALL!!?
Just found the channel the other day and catching up. 6’2 245. 21 mile one way commute. Any e-bike I can get come spring to commute to work with? Assume I’m not gonna pedal much but I’ll try too when I can.
Sounds like something is gummed up. Check the cable and make sure its not pinched somewhere. You could loosen the cable at the calliper and pull the lever to see if its easy or hard. Is the calliper damaged in anyway so maybe its not closing like it should?
Great to see a candid and honest Q&A session! Love the new website! Be safe out there guys!
Thank you.
Loved this video! Hope you will do more of these.
Another video coming soon.
Thanks for the shout out ❤
Great Q&A! Keep up the great work!

Attention Richard's insurance company: Richard and Emma do NOT charge batteries unattended. Handy fire extinguisher also.

Hi could you tell me the seat post diameter for the Mooncool TK1 folding bike ?
Its 31.6
I have the mc350 and I can't get the front brake to work right. Everything is tight and the pads don't touch the disk. What is your thoughts on this?

Important question….would you rather fight 100 duck sized wolfs, or 10 wolf sized ducks!
10 wolf sized ducks. Assuming they are just ducks and don't plan to attack me and eat me.
@ I think if you bring bread crums and a duck call they may make you their leader. That would make a interesting TH-cam Video

Think meetone going to have three different trikes
I got the impression that there is something else still in the works. It would make sense because they seem to be a trike only company.
So who is the pretty women?
