I LOVE it when a parent leans into services. Takes all they can get out of it for their child's welfare. The whole family grows. The children learn to trust again. 🥰🥰😥❤️🥰
I am glad that the children are back with their mom and their dad is in their lives. I was never married to my daughters dad but we got along for her sake. Yes, we had disagreements when she was young but we never bad mouthed each other to her. She is 29 now and her dad and I have developed a very good friendship over the years. It makes life so much better if you can co-parent.
Glad I found this older, unwatched case of Judge Lockwood's! He's definitely one of my top favorite judges. I haven't seen a recent case of his in so long!
This is ridiculous! I am a GAL in Florida. I would be rejoicing if this were one of my families. Get out of their lives! I know, just as In Florida, the department is very short staffed. Get on to another case that needs you. 😡
I completely agree!! Everyone else said to close out but that one worker and she doesn't have a reason or any concerns. I'm lost as tp why she wants to keep monitoring them?..
@@Cannabidragon I would venture a guess that the department she works for has had some dastardly results and every family that comes behind that will pay for that "department's" mistakes. I hate to sound so negative but it is a broken system than can be fixed with a lot of hard work, passion and dedication. That is very much in short supply these days. It's only children and the rest of their lives...what could go wrong? Yes, I am angry.😡Sorry!
I think she is just wan/ing to ensure success. I like that the worker is confident yet cautious of moms success. Better an extra couple months then her failing. That little support can make the difference
She knew for sure, but she wanted to make it a topic during the hearing. Her client clearly wants to stop the supervision (particularly one that happens so often) and she needed everything clearly stated on the record. She cannot make statements based on what the mother conveyed to her or heard in a phone discussion. The responsibles are there to testify.
I agree!! I once saw Judge Lockwood go against his recommendation and that man threw a fit!! He was throwing things around on his desk!! I do not like him at all!! It was ridiculous!! The case was one child had been returned and he was saying the other child shouldn’t be returned because the foster parents had more money! Luckily the judge said NO and returned the girl home and if the foster parents wanted to continue to help pay for horse riding lesson etc there was nothing to stop them! Judge Lockwood is great - Colonel Sanders not so much! Sorry for the long post! Have a great day!!
Big fan of seeing it go right ❤️❤️🩹 For those who don’t like the lawyer for CPS, if you recognize how nice this case was because you are used to seeing the train wrecks just imagine what he has seen and add how many reunification’s he’s seen that have rolled across his desk again. It’s easy to get jaded and he looks close to retirement.
Yes it is easy to get jaded especially when you see circumstances like this and so many times the CPS workers don’t do enough and these kids end up 6 feet under at the hands of their own parents so yeah I’d be a little bit jaded to that apparent can consistently do the wrong thing for years and years and years and then boo-hoo Hoo and a CPS worker will just say oh yeah let let them go back with her parents a parents said that they’re sorry and they’re going to do better and then they turn their back in months later the kid is found locked in the freezer haven’t been murdered by their own parents so yeah I’d say I’d be a little bit jaded to watching all the times that the court and CPS fails these children and they end up dead and nobody’s ever held Accountable all we ever hear is the CPS workers are so overworked and they’re so short staffed. Meanwhile there’s a child dead because of them neglecting their job and their duty so yeah, you can’t get jaded very easily.
