Hi David. I'm pretty sure for the 3/16" sap line I used a 1/2" diameter threaded rod. If you use 5/16" tubing, it'll be a size up. Best bet is to cut a piece of your sap line, take it to Home Depot with you and size it up vs. the threaded rods available. I'm pretty sure it's 1-1/2" long. Sorry, been awhile and I'm not in IL currently to check it for you.
@@captainsgold9903 Thanks for the reply.I did take a piece of line with me and found the right size for 3/16 line.Trying to get everything ready for the next sap season.Building an evaporator and going with sap lines next year.Hope to have around 60 taps in.
