excellent!!..can't believe they've uploaded this game..i was there a 17 year old upstart in the holmsedale road end..muddy grass a few barriers a few palace fans no roof united fans everywhere....25 years later I had the best times of my life with united..went to cities n towns all over the country..so glad I was part of it..now we're back where we started can't believe it!!..but guys who were part of it from whatever team..will know how good and unique it was...happy days!!👹
Epic! One of the last times Best & Law shone together. Palace kept coming back. Got their revenge the next year. Oh and the great Brian Moore.commentating! Remember it well.
This game was my first ever visit to Selhurst Park. I went there to cheer on manu, you know how could you not? BEST, LAW, CHARLTON . . .but you know what something strange happened to me that day! I have been a CRYSTAL PALACE supporter ever since!!!
They're playing very very much doubles as Combo score points football team. I love man United players, they're good shoot goalkeeper. Amazing as beats strikes they doing to go without goalkeeper.
I was at the game & will re play & freeze it, to try & see if i can find myself behind the Whitehorse End goal. Brilliant game I remember reading that Gigi Peronese was there, the agent who’d brought Denis Law to Torino in the 60’s. He was still raving about Law, albeit in the twilight years of his fantastic career.
Thanks for this. Supurb. The best game of football I saw apart from one on 26/5/99.....i was 10 and it was the first time i saw United. Now a season ticket holder for 25 years.
As a ten year old, I was lucky enough to be taken to this game by my cousin and his friend who were Utd fans. What a game. I remember the crowd singing 'E for B and Georgie Best' which was a tv advert around that time. Fantastic to see Best and Law in their pomp
Mine too and have been a palace fan ever since. 5 years ago a good friend (Chelsea fan) was cleaning out his loft and sent me the programme from this match totally unaware of how special it was to me.
Denis Law - a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma. One of the all-time greats and the only Scot to be European footballer of the Year but had no B game. A knee injury had reduced to him to walking pace, but still scored a hat-trick. Behind the scenes Man Utd were trying to get rid of him but there was no takers. Read his Wikipedia.
In the end he went to Manchester CITY and was part responsible for a victory over united which saw the might United RELEGATED !!!! He scored the only goal of the game for City with a cheeky back heel. BEAUTIFUL
I too attend this as my first ever match. I remember asking my Dad where the action replay was! Now, 42 years on, here it is! thanks for uploading this
25th March , 1967 Crystal Palace 1 Millwall 2 and me and my Millwall M8'S rolled down the grass bank that was THe Whitehorse Lane End. "68 " Bus from The Walworth Road and it dropped right outside the ground :) 13th May 1967 Palace 4 Wolves 1 and 10,000 Wolves there celebrating promotion to the top tier on the last day of the season. Then by around 1970/71, it became a Two-Tier stand where opposing fans would be with home fans. Remember 41,000 one Easter v Middlesborough. Used to love going to Palace although I am a Millwall fan since my first match in December , 1962 v Hull City......58 years later.....lol
I can remember going to that game with my dad, I was only 14. Brings back so many memories.
Good for you! Memories to be treasured my friend.

Epic! One of the last times Best & Law shone together. Palace kept coming back. Got their revenge the next year. Oh and the great Brian Moore.commentating! Remember it well.
We got our revenge the next season 5-0. The Don Rogers show
United won 3-1 the next season.
Denis is one of the best forwards of ever. The class of the King. The scotsman rules...
This game was my first ever visit to Selhurst Park.

I have been a CRYSTAL PALACE supporter ever since!!!
Was my first game, went with brother who got me into United after watching a very good final in 1968! First game seen them play, rest is history.
That Alan Birchenall was a good player!
My God I'd like to see today's footballers play on bone hard pitch's... Health and safety wouldn't allow it.!!!
They're playing very very much doubles as Combo score points football team. I love man United players, they're good shoot goalkeeper. Amazing as beats strikes they doing to go without goalkeeper.
Awesome thanks so man.
Wow jeez Zeus that's good scores football.
I was born in 71 and became a palace fan 5 years later. Why? Coz i like the kit at the time innit. Praying for the play offs.
Was always hoping the 3-5 game would appear one day on YT. Hat-trick by the Lawman. Thanks for uploading!
I was there, was also on Match of the Day. All could remember was Law overhead kick. Good days

Bobby Charlton fast cultivating the first under the left ear side parting!
Could it get any lower,....lol.
Blimey. I was there as well. A real privilege.
That was a nice thing for your friend to do!

One of the all time greats but had no B game? Bit of a contradiction there!
And what's with the Churchill quote?
Law was always rushing about....

Where’s the action replay lol
What a first game to go to. Best, Law and Charlton on a sunny afternoon.
Red army till I die
Palace in their old claret and blue kit ! They could really annoy Man U these days if they went back to their original nick name 'The Glaziers'
How? We're owned by the _Glazers_
man utd were in palace end i remeber
Yes us glory hunters were in your end and in your pubs
@@HUGHWON ..yes we were such glory hunters we hardly won anything in the 70s and 80s..but what support!!👹
Great game law and best what a comeback.
That is nice game
What years did Palace play in a claret and blue strip?
Great video to remind us all of the good days!
Wow what a great match
David Sadler at centre half= accident waiting to happen.
Any worse than Ian Ure or Steve James though ?
Great to remind me of the spacious Holmesdale End....
And the Whitehorse Lane end
25th March , 1967 Crystal Palace 1 Millwall 2 and me and my Millwall M8'S rolled down the grass bank that was THe Whitehorse Lane End. I was there as a youngster behind the goal. Remember it with pride. Time flies.
Best should have been sent of for the terrible dive! 😂
Or name all the players "AMBROSE!"
Lads, it's Crystal Palace.
In 2011, the score was 2-1 to Palace!
GLAD ALL OVER
I was there, what a game it was! Great to see the action again ;-)
