I love the video, I love hearing you talk about your personal life and giving genuine opinions to your client. Is her eye twitching uncontrollably because the tape is too high or do some people just have uncontrollable twitches? You are still doing such a good job regardless though.
Hey! Thank you so much for watching ❤️ I think it was a mixture of both - initially the tape was too high, but her eyes were also twitchy in the beginning. It did calm down once she relaxed a little bit into the appointment and we weren't talking as much!
Very good video. I'm an Esthetician and I'm starting out on these lashes. So how do you sit comfortably ( position yourself) without your neck and back hurting? For me after two hours and only the right side of the lashes are done my neck and back really hurts
Thank you! I recommend a saddle chair (we have one linked in the description) since it forces you to stay upright, and making sure to adjust the bed and your chair so that your feet are planted on the ground and your knees are even with your feet. Bring your client closer to you instead of moving your neck forward. Also, make sure to wear magnifying glasses if you can and add more light to your room if you feel like you're struggling! Make sure to also stretch your neck, back and wrists before every client. These are just a few tips but hopefully it helps!
Can depend on how the natural lashes are! If a client has less natural lashes it may take less time, but if a client has more difficult lashes it can take longer. On average though around 1.5 hours to 2 hours!
In the beginning, one hour is pretty fast - on average sets take up to two hours and that time may decrease with experience. I typically would recommend taking up an hour per eye and trying to add as many lashes as you can and making sure the eyes are even. I feel like one hour would be too rushed and the client won't have great retention since it's unlikely that every lash will be lashed.
Hey! If they don't have any lashes due to chemo therapy, unfortunately you wouldn't be able to apply lash extensions as it does have to adhere to a lash and can't be attached to the skin. If they do have lashes, I would maybe start off with the sensitive glue since it is a less intense formula. Hope this helps ❤️
That's true! Some clients though are just more twitchy naturally - I recommend that they don't have caffeine beforehand next time or sometimes it has to do with nerves if it's the first time I'm working on them!

What tweezers are those a3 and a2?
Yes! We are using out A-3 tweezer to isolate and the A-2 tweezer to apply
