How to solve this with the torque method? Basically, I want to write the torque equations with respect to the instantaneous axis of rotation. Now I solved the question in that way and if I won't consider the pseudo torque the answer is matching but when I consider the pseudo torque due to the acceleration of the instantaneous axis of rotation by applying the relevant pseudo force on the centre of mass the answer is not matching. Please explain to us why is this happening. When should we consider and when not?
