Norfork in early April can be really tough. If it’s still cold there are 2 or 3 creeks that will be warmer and everyone piles in those creeks so you’re fishing in a line. I live in NW Arkansas and fish Norfork often. If we have a warm March you could definitely be power fishing for prespawn or maybe even spawning fish, but that is very rare in early April. That’s my 2 cents on Norfork in early April. Best of luck to you in whichever division you choose.

Tough getting to a lot of the backwater on tenn Tom on columbus lake. It’s slited in. Cleaner water south locking thru to pickensville
