it got stolen. he had to transport it through Russia without driving it because of a snowstorm. but upon arrival, the car wasn't there. so he got a new one of the same model to try and match the old one. he even tried to get it rewrapped so nobody would notice. the people ho was tasked to do the job only saw half of the car, so they only did the one's side. and that's how it all happened
