If you guys don’t see the save to file option, find the print button, once you’re there, zoom into the picture, you should see another download button on the top right of the screen. Click it, and you should see the save to files option
Hello Great video Please help me with my iPad issue..I download free pdfs from net and save it in file..after writing and making notes on pdf with Apple Pencil it fails to open and says that open pdf in books…please help..it was important note and now I am at loss
It's not the share icon for me, I opened the file in SAFARI, and tap on the bottom of the page, and a a bar appears with "Open in..." at the right hand side bottom of the screen I tap that and found SAVE IN FILES there.
If you dont see the save to file option, just swipe up on the box that you see after tapping that share button. You can swipe left right and up for all the options available.
Actually, the pdf file I'm trying to save is a txt. file in the dowload folder in my iPhone 12 pro max. Why is it a .txt file when clearly its a .pdf file? So frustrating.
I was hoping this video would show how to save the pdf file on the iPhone itself -- NOT to a cloud drive. I need to be able to access without an internet connection. Also... I have never been able to figure out how to create a folder for files on the iPhone. I'm sure it isn't hard, but Apple takes a lot for granted when it comes to using all of their apps and services.
How do I create a direct link to this downloaded pdf file on my home screen? I need to be able to view this file with one click, while offline. Apple is a cult!
This is NOT how to save a pdf to an iPhone or iPad. It is how to save a pdf file to somewhere out on the Internet called an iCloud drive. This would entail Internet access, reliable pipe, and Internet availablilty (and in many cases data transfer fees) to use the file. Not what is looked for or advertized.
HI Anthony, you dont need a new folder on your iPhone you can save PDF to your Books app: Open the PDF, Tap Share, Scroll to Books App and Select. To view the PDF on your iphone simply open your Books app. Good Luck!

I’m not given an option to Save To Files on my .pdf with my new iPad Pro. Do you know why this could be?
You didn’t pay enough money unfortunately. That feature costs an additional $1500.

You're not saving it on your iPhone or iPad, it's saved on the iCloud server, you even said it at the end.
Maybe you should change the title.

Hi hi. My problem is that the pdf is not fully loading when I open it in Safari. Only the 1st page is showing when I save the pdf. Any ideas?
