As a gay man who went through the military, the night before processing into MEPS is not like this. You have a roommate(military is cheap like that), the recruiters have other things to do besides escorting you to your hotel room, and won't barge into your hotel room, as they've gone home for the day. Ah, the world of Soap Operas....
Through all of the frustrations that we endure with the Nuke storyline, we have to remember: this is a soap opera. True happiness ONLY comes when a character is being written out of the series or when the show ends. Until that time, there is always going to be problems with Nuke. Apparantly, unhappiness is "entertaining."

Noah is a type of guy that needs to be reminded constantly about the privileges he has by Luke loving him,people wanting him near and safe.A messed up person with a horrible father figure in mind isn't confident about himself and a strong boy like Luke seems he thinks only of their relationship when he doesn't.That's why they write the show like this,o make viewers jump everytime.

Think about it - after Ameera split, they had the cottage open. Could have had a romantic encounter like any straight couple would have but didn't. The problem with this part is that Luke outs Noah to the military officers. I agree with Luke that Noah made a STUPID and irrational decision to enlist. He's out of whack after his father's death and not thinking straight. BUT! What Luke did is completely morally wrong. You can plead with someone, reason, advise - whatever. You can't *force*, that's something ABUSIVE partners do. Luke tried to forcefully prevent Noah from enlisting by saying Noah's gay, and that to me is 100% out of line.
