This is the method that I always use to practice, I look for classic comic originals and ink on a layer above. In part it is economical, I do not spend on paper. once I am satisfied with the result I make an impression and try to assimilate with my real technique with the real brush. Saludos

What is your brush setup by the way??!
It's whatever the default is. I haven't dived too deep into brush creation. I think I was using a G-Pen on this piece.
