    It's a new year and we are resetting the lectionary. We begin with Genesis and John, and we'll read the entire Old Testament* over the next 2 years, and we'll read the New Testament twice.
    *except for a couple chapters of Leviticus, Numbers, Joshua, Judges, and Chronicles. So, like 97% of the Old Testament.
