We travel in Europe quite a bit and single duvets are quite common. We love it! So much so, we now have a super king bed and two single duvets. Best nights sleep ever!!

For the boys from Birmingham airport they could try Porto in Portugal, or Barcelona? Both are fun cities, near beaches and have football stadiums. Orrrrr stay UK and do Liverpool, with all the museums at the docks, and the Anfield tour is really good.
Tivoli has been on my bucket list for so long! The idea of going on a rollercoaster with a brake man fills me with joy 😂 Theres a Sostrene grene in Cheltenham now if you find yourself back there at some point (I think its you thats been there before but now doubting that and thinking I sound mad 😅)

Yes, they live on Svalbard which is a group of islands and the island that they live on is Spitzbergan with the only town on the island called Longyearbyn (may have spelt all those places incorrectly.} I really enjoyed this blog, i'm hoping to visit Copenhagen one day.. xx

I went to Denmark with my now husband in 2016 we travelled across the islands and ended up in Copenhagen, we drove out to a small seaside village the last night and he proposed (he wanted to do it at the little mermaid but it was too busy so he bottled it and he knew i wouldnt want the busy proposal haha). Its somewhere my mum has always wanted to go and we do plan to do a mummy daughter trip, but covid and ill health have so far stopped us. We will get there one day. Love your relationship worh Erin makes me so happy xxx

I have some really fond memories of going to Tivoli, first time I was 12 and on a school trip and as an adult for their Christmas market. One day I’ll take my little boy there. So glad you and your girl had fab time together❤ xx
Love the individual duvets for a hotel, too much washing at home. 😝 BUT... I do have a king duvet for a queen bed (American sizes... Super king duvet UK size).
I can’t say I know much about football, but my 15 year old nephew has just gone away on his first overseas trip with his school football team and they’re in Valencia. They’re doing a special training program for the week but also checking out the football stadium (I think he said it’s one of the biggest in Spain) and doing other sporty things. He’s been there since Sunday and is loving it. Definitely sounds like it could be a cool destination for Ethan to check out
I love SuperGoop! They have a powder sunscreen that is my go-to in the summer. It helps keep your make up matte and is SPF 30! This is the only line that doesn't bother my skin and make me break out! Copenhagen has been on my list. It looks like so much fun and it's just stunning! Glad you and Erin had such a good time!
I did a football city break in Barcelona and Madrid. I preferred Barcelona but I could imagine Ethan would like to see Jude Bellingham in Madrid. Go for it.
I took my boy Jack to the Chelsea ground (his favourite team) and did the bring your boots tour so he got to play on the actual Chelsea pitch, it was fab x
After many years of my hubby stealing the duvet and wrapping himself around it, we have separate quilts. I don't know why more people don't do it. I have a winter thick duvet and hubby's is a thinner one. Just makes sense! X
Omg I love ceceila on svalbard! And little grim ❤ have only seen them on fb reels, didn't realise they had TH-cam too! I'd so love to do this sort of trip with my kiddos but I have 2 boys that are 2 years apart and they would both RAGE if I only took one of them 😂😂😂

Such a lovely video. I love all the colourful houses. Tivoli Gardens looked wonderful but I wouldn’t go on any of those rides Erin went on on her own! I couldn’t walk after going on Crush’s coaster at DLP! We have a Sostrene Grene shop in Sheffield. Love it. On opening day we all got a goody bag and the first 100 got a £60 rug each! I love that you are watching the Gilmore Girls together. My daughter tried to watch it but found Lorelei too screechy and fast talking so didn’t manage one episode!

I love Copenhagen went for the second time but this time with the family and it’s was amazing they have so many activities for children! I loved that you had a mother daughter trip. I will be doing this with my daughter when she get a bit older!
This brought back memories from when I studied abroad there! Such a lovely place! And I like a lot of superGoop stuff- some of it smells strong but generally I really like the unseen sunscreen or matte one! It’s not oily and doesn’t leave white marks or a sheen. The only one I didn’t love was the sunscreen moisturizer- that one smelled funny.
Lol.... as i get older i get dizzy, rides are a NO for me. But i have kids so i have too....😂 as my husband grt motion sickness bad 😅 Ummm sorry but i also agree its more gorgeous than disney. This is also me if i were a autumn park. Reminds me of Halloween town. I love that movie.

Love this video! Travel vlogs are always my fave to watch from the creators I follow. Also thought you'd like to hear that I still go on trips like this with my Mum, and I'm 30 years old 🥰 We didn't actually get a chance for such adventures til I was an adult, but we've always been close like you and Erin, and have since been to the Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest in Queensland (we live 1 hour north of Sydney), had a few smaller trips to country New South Wales and some staycations on the Central Coast where we live, as well as an epic trip to South Island NZ together. And we're about to stay in a fancy hotel in Sydney overlooking the Opera House (where we're also seeing a play) together for the first time to celebrate my 30th! I hope you and Erin continue these girl-time adventures for a long time to come! And well done on managing it all without another adult for the first time! It was a brave step (anxiety can be a thief of joy despite our best intentions and desires, so I'm weirdly proud of you for going ahead with it! 😅) but now you know you can do such things! 💪🙌🫶

Looks really lovely, would definitely like to do a mini break there. They have a Normal shop in Val De Europe next time you go to DLP! Would recommend Paris for Ethan and a tour of Parc des Princes where PSG play, son and hubby went last year and loved it - obvs can go when they have a home game too xx
Thoroughly recommend Barcelona if you're looking for a great European city with an amazing football ground for Ethan next year. You can visit Camp Nou along with loads of other great attractions with the Go City pass :-)
