Ok Howie… I developed type 2 diabetes when pregnant with my 3rd child. Here’s the thing I am allergic to insulin and started taking G5 for medical reasons in 2016. Ozempic is a brand name it comes in many others names.
This G5 class of drugs replaces the functioning of what healthy organs should be doing.
Sharon’s use of this drug for weightloss created a problem for her because she did not need insulin replacement, therefore now her pancreas and liver are responding as if she is a type 1 diabetic and hence why she cannot gain weight and is so thin. Her organs adjusted to a drug she did not need and now her once healthy organs do not function on their own.
No celebrity should be promoting this class of drugs to anyone as a weightloss drug.
Not forgetting that those who medically require this medicine have gone through months of shortage so those who can afford it look good with no regard for others. Vanity verses practicality will always have a reckoning.

The medication did not age her. The fact that she lost too much weight (especially at her age) makes her look older. I find that white women have more of a problem with this because they want to be super skinny. If she would have stopped 15 pounds ago she would have been fine.

I'm a retired nurse. I always liked being super thin when I was young. However, I gained a new perspective during my nursing years after seeing people who couldn't eat. Now I'm just fine being a healthy weight.

I just saw Kelly Clarkson and she always struggles with weight, holy crap she’s lost all the weight so fast you know it’s Ozempic! A guy I work with was on ozempic and later on, monjourno. He then discovered he had pancreatitis and needs a liver transplant. Just out of nowhere. He didn't even know he was sick!!! It was discovered during routine blood work. His Dr told him it definitely was the ozempic and moujourno. Be aware and be careful.
One of the worst side effects is Ozempic is pancreatitis. It’s a proven found fact. I hope your friends going to be ok.
Holy crap! I had idiopathic pancreatitis that I finally cured, forget the pain, pancreatitis kills! And you cannot eat anything while you have it, yiur pancreas is eating itself basically. If you have any gut issues, please do your research as I was unaware of this but wouldn't use it but what if I did??

If he was on those then he is likely morbidly obese or diabetic or both. Both of these do huge damage to your liver so no it wasn't just out of nowhere more likely is he never had bloodwork done until he started taking the drugs.

Your body is programmed completely different than someone who doesn’t have diabetes and you have a much harder time getting the weight off than someone who doesn’t have diabetes.

I've been on it for 8 weeks . No side effects but constipation which staying hydrated is helping. 2lbs a week consistently. That's healthy weight loss.
Every single drug you take has side effects. One of my family members has lupus and she has more side effects from her medications than the actual illness. The inflammation is in her brain so she has to stay on the meds.
That's because what's happening to them has nothing to do with that drug!
And everything to do with the miracle stuff they can't acquire with ease anymore... youth that made them youthful that is.

There are no medications without side effects-read the inserts. If a diabetic/obese person improved known negative effects on heart, liver, avoiding heart attacks and cancers, etc., then it’s a matter of trying to balance the risks. That a thin person uses it is a vanity issue.

I’m on ozempic for diabetes. I’ve had almost no weight loss but my goal is to keep my A1C down. The side effects suck. A lot! I would caution people and make an educated decision before using it.

That’s a problem for people with diabetes. There are times when the medicine is hardly available because it’s being used for other reasons

She obviously has some sort of dysmorphic disorder because she has done so much plastic surgery she should have got a shrink instead.
You know I use Ozempic for diabetes.. but I use it at lower dose than what is used for people that use it for weight loss. Two things you need to be careful of Gastroparesis and Sharon Osbourne and Kelly do not keep using this as weight loss, the dosage is higher than even I as a diabetic take, it helps me lose weight yes but the goal is to lower my A1C and I take it once a week and that's it.
And since so many people use it for weight loss it's hard for a diabetic person to get

Want to try, but the side effects are insane too many horror stories scare me, plus it's too expensive. Will do the old fashioned way, eat healthy, and exercise 🤷♀️

I have a question. I don’t understand. She is saying she cannot put Weight back on. I know so many people and even myself when I did it you do put the weight back on.
So either she is on something completely different, or she hasn’t come off and she’s lying and saying one of the side-effects is I just cannot put Weight back on. I think that is completely false.

I think it can have a cascade of effects because it impacts the feeling of satiety in the brain. Many people have nausea and diarrhea, which can impact wanting to eat long term.
She said she kept doing more and more and then stopped. Can taking too much do this? Maybe if you take lower dosage, you can get back the weight after you stop.
Not really the drug affects the stomach. The drug makes you not want to eat. It can paralyze the stomach.

To Howie’s Freudian slip about Ozempic users being “Guinea Pigs”, just like those who got the Jab. The same Howie that was very outspoken against those who questioned or didn’t get the jab.
In an untechnical way, they are guinea pigs because this is the first time this drug is being used for loosing weight instead of diabetes.
Remember, one is an antiviral the other is for a completely different issue. Any medication will have a tiny percentage of those who may experience side effects, that's why it's important for you to do well rounded research, not listening to some crooked politicians or some group like Qanon who know nothing.

Ozempic has been used for 18 years for Diabetes at similar dosages. Yes, there are side effects. But there is relatively long term data.

I've heard and seen all these stories about people losing tons of weight on Ozempic. I've tried taking it on 3 dif. occasions. It did not work for me, it only made me sick.

I know some people can't, but I did. And kept it off. Learn to cook. Eat well. The weight comes off faster than you can believe. Your stomach gets smaller, you eat less. Fresh super flavorful spicy food as you like. No prepackaged processed foods. None. I can eat all the stir fry veges salmon chicken and I love pork that i want. It filling and nutrition. McDonalds is poison. All super home made delicious food. All the cooking videos are on TH-cam now. No excuses. You don't need a nasty drug. You just don't.
I worked in healthcare for years, when Ozempic came out I knew 6 people within a month who took Ozempic and got violent diarrhoea and gastric cramping so its not an easy thing to take!
Yeah I heard that it's bad for you. I recently lost a bunch of weight. It's all calories in and out. If a person takes in less calories than there body needs they'll lose weight no matter what. People want a magic medication to do all of the work when in reality it comes down to calories. Celebrities have the world's best doctors monitoring their health when they do this stuff while the average person can't afford it and will often harm themselves. I recently had digestive issues and my gallbladder removed which was horrible so it's not worth risking your health over medications.

I knew someone who was taking it and she said the same thing, she had a weight goal in mind but she was fascinated by how quickly she loss the weight and ended up losing far more weight than she wanted. She started in a size 12 and dropped to a size 4. Her insides were so messed up that she hadn't pooped in three months smh...I sense some lawsuits coming. Especially after Oprah started talking about how good it is #theOprahAffect

I was on Trulicity for diabetes for three years then a few months ago l couldn't get it so the doctor switched me to Ozempic. I have only taken it for three weeks and l don't have much of an appetite and have trouble finishing meals. I worry about the risk of pancreatitis, liver and kidney problems. I heard some people have had stomach paralysis and are suing the drug company.
These drugs not only create physiological changes but they also change people's thoughts about food and eating. This can be helpful when it comes to correcting overeating habits but not so great when it creates anorexia!
You are Lucky that you still survived with all that weight loss and side effects that you experienced from OZEMPIC. Maybe not so lucky for others.. So far, not enough known about using this OZEMPIC on a long term or short.term basis. Studies were not conducted long enough.
I wont use it, eventhough i really need it. I already experienced
gallbladder removal, panrceatitus and bowel blockage without the use of OZEMPIC. It was all too painful and above all, i wont want the possibility of repeating it again by any of OZEMPIC 's possible side effects that included some or all of the above.
I think that's the problem with correlating all of these side effects with the drug itself in all cases. A lot of people who get on it are at risk for a lot of these side effects to begin with and it would have probably happened with or without the drug.
Ozempic is for diabetics not for weight lose!!! Why would anyone chose to take that stuff, it makes me nauseous, gives me headaches just to name a few side effects. It cannot be sustained forever therefore will be getting rid of that stuff soon. Weight Watchers is the best, teaches how to change eating habits and CAN be sustained for life!!

I tried Ozempic and I lost most of my hair. It’s been almost two years since I stopped injecting and my hair is finally growing and looking healthy again. The worst part was, I only lost 10 kilos using ozempic, but that was also in conjunction with dieting and exercise. Just taking ozempic, I would not have lost any weight. I wish I never tried it. I had healthy long hair down to my waist and it’s going to take many years to grow it back.
The people that are able to get pregnant is because the person has lost weight so their hormones and menstrual cycles become more normal which in turn increases their chances of getting pregnant
I'm glad Sharon is talking about Ozempic. Its also very important that she has recognized that she has lost enough weight. Hopefully her metabolism will return to normal so she can gain a little weight back.

Like her or not Sharon is always honest. Her comments here about Ozempic are scary but the little I know it is difficult she doesn’t tell her truth unlike so many people who use it irresponsibly and make up stories about using it.

Stop using medicine for diabetics. We can't get it..and are suffering.
Totally agree with you. Yhere ate now GLP-1 injectables specifically for weight loss only. People with Type 2 diabetes are suffering due to the chronic shortage.
