In my University Town, Antigonish Nova Scotia, members of the Greatest Generation owned cars like this while I was growing up. The folks who flew Spitfires, P-51D's or Avro Lancaster's. This type of beauty would have been sold by Eastern Auto, Pontiac, Buick, GMC back in the day. Eastern Auto owned by the Sears Family was an institution in my home town. I'd love to hear other small town car memories. Mary's husband Peter :)
I also have this one and even the red/White convertible , still in thier boxes for that last 10 yaers, never being able to display them. These are super detailed models from Danbury Mints, RIP
I really love this car in this color, not so much the price...I have 25 Danbury's including the convertible version of this Pontiac in blue/turquoise, and is the best detailed model I own. Enjoy!
Thank you! Yes, the price for this model is, unfortunately quite high, but it’s really very detailed and one of the best models from the Danbury mint collection, including the convertible version of this Pontiac in blue/turquoise that you mentioned above.
Nice. I own approximately 100 Danbury and Franklin Mint cars. 85% being muscle cars. The detail in these always amazes me. Nice to see you know how to handle these fragile gems. Enjoy !! PEACE from Philadelphia
@@n-joythewheels6041 Two closets full ! Was on a serious mission for a couple years. Got addictive. I need some nice display cabinets. Had a career ending injury back in August 09. Fell 25ft off utility pole onto a boulder. REALLY did a number. Disability sure is taking its good old time. Kinda in limbo. Stinks. I whip them out of their box from time to time just to admire. When I was working, I was buying up to 2-3 a week, much to the dismay of my late wife. She died January 2020. Just 5 months after my accident. Bad couple yrs. Bad.
Thank you very much. I have a couple of dozen models 1:24 -1: 18. I just can't find the time to film. I can't call myself a professional collector, I'm more of an amateur. Your collection is impressive!
After years of wanting this model , knowing how expensive it is ,and always was because of its exquisite beauty and detail , FINALLY, I realized I was simply out of room !! I saw one for sale . It was in near perfect condition.....and even more incredible it was no. 0025 of 5000 !! Though I had just purchased another piece at great expense ,I knew if I didn't move quickly it would be gone (NO DOUBT).........I filled my last spot and I won't be buying DIECASTS for a long time I ask THIS , of anyone who has the Green Coupe , OR Who knows ,.... Does the Coupe have the pull out RADIO , like I know the convertible DOES ??? I'd like any info about this .....................PS , I just can't keep my eyes That incredible Color Burma Green over the partner color whose name I can't remember........
It is hard to find those cars, it is a very rare model. There is a chance to find them on eBay, but qualities matter of luck. I bought mine from a webshop, I put the link below, there are all Danbury mint and Franklin mint models, where qualities are reliable. You can keep your eyes there, and sometimes they restock the models. That's how I got it. I hope my information will help. www.phillymint.com/
The Chinese workers will no longer work for the low wages they were paid to assemble these diecast back 15 -20 years ago. Pretty quickly after, the factories closed. The Chinese government will not allow any foreign companies who imported the dies into the country to take them back. What ever diecast that has been sold, will never again be built for the low cost of the 90's. Their value can only go up.
Absolutely amazing model !! very high quality ..

Yo tengo un verdadero clásico, un Dodge Plymouth Valiant del 66, y lo quiero vender pero estoy en Venezuela
Very nice but too much ceremonial ,it looks like you receive an original FABERGE egg.
It was a funny comment. It may not be as expensive as a Faberge egg, but it also costs good money. :)
@@n-joythewheels6041 A lot more interesting too !!!
How much for the car
If you are lucky, then around 500-600 $
Guacamole 🥑 to go
Stop treating the model like that, you are not gonna live forever, enjoy the damn thing!

The car
А у меня такого нет пока.
Желаю и вам приобрести, хотя их всё труднее найти, модэль редкость. Но как говорится нет ничего невозможного.
And then when your mother in-law comes she gives it to your five year old son to play with it.
I don't even want it to happen even in my dream! :)
Can I buy it for at least $55 to $99
Unfortunately no. :(
How much for the cat
$ 500-600
