You can easily make your own texture paste out of sand, glue, and craft paint. Costs basically nothing to make enough to fill an empty Agrax Earthshade bottle. If you use two different sizes of sand it works really well.
I love the fact that the souless killing machines have some of the best characters in all of 40k. I love how simple your dynasty is, my personal Necrons are like.. snow themed. So white, and a grey blue, Sterling Mud, and a light dusting of Valhallan Blizzard. ^^
I'm picking up my first mini's on Tuesday! I found someone locally who had a spare indomitus crusade box and wanted to paint up my necrons so my buddies and I can use them as enemies for killteam or crusade! Perfect inspiration
Got given some a few months back....as a nearly 50 year old man I never expected to go down the warhammer 40k rabbit hole. Can't get enough of it now. 👍
I recommend the void dragon, my friends bought me him for Xmas (my first Xmas gift Iv ever got actually) so had him commission painted and oh my emperor he looks phenomenal
my only disapointment with your video was you didn't beat the devil out of your brushes :) And also no trees with friends :) All in all pleasant voice, I'm shore you could calm even Khorne himself, you are the female Bob Ross :) ( now in my mind I see Bob painting a nature scene set in Granpa Nurgle 's garden, and making a happy little puss Vulcan and then making him a little friend, and then deciding where the Mold trees live)
Very relaxing, but just want to point out that silver paint looks kinda low in quality, I think your minis would look better with a Leadbelcher Spray from GeeWee for example. Maybe they are sprayed with too much of it also.

I did similar with the snow theme, but my necrons are novokh dynasty. So it's more of a "blood in the snow theme

As a Necron player definitely use leadbelcher spray
what was the silver basecoat?
I thought it was Krylon spray, but it was Miracal. I’m not sure where we found it.
