The ledge method works wonders too. Find any sharp ledge (a stair, etc.), position the lip of the cap to the ledge and pull the bottle down hard but not so hard you'll break the neck if you clip the ledge with the glass. All my Mexican friends do this, not one of them has owned a bottle opener in the years I've known them and the many beers I've had with them 😂

Thank you for the key tip; my two cents make a couple ridges wide, don't try to just open it off 1 ridge. Makes it a lot easier to apply pressure from the spine of the key up against the cap and the bottle. Also careful not to slip and cut yourself, i didn't but it came pretty close lol

#2 works well, you can loosen the metal all around the edge of the cap and then when you twist it'll come right off

For some reason the bottles you have seem as tho they are easier to open, mines are really tightly sealed. Is it possible that the bottle in the US aren't as tightly sealed?
