Out of the box? Yes. The Td27 sounds better definitely but the Td17 sounds can be modified to sound just as or in some cases better than the factory kits on the Td27. Td27 really wins with the positional sensing, no “machine gunning” fills like the Td17 and the TD27 just feels better.

Wonder what the used prices for the td30 will drop down to so far still 4000 ish Canadian 3000 without the module on fb market place. Even the roland td1dmk is a $1000 new. Sucks get taxed way more pay more yet make the same wages for same job as an American oh and I only get 7 months of year to work because our winters are so long. Sounds like a you problem 🤔 but really Canada's economy sucks.

When uncle sam gives me another stimulus check I'll have enough clams to buy this kit.
