I'm the guy from Clearwater, FL who asked about your side skirts. I Switched to my Car TH-cam channel to say thank you for sharing your LC modifications info. Just got my LC 500 and I've been watching your videos nonstop.
Thx for the vid, I’d love to see more DYI on the LC, even if you can talk about installation, tips, pain points on your mods (springs, exhaust, body mods) and maintenance, it would be appreciated.
Thanks! Yeah, it was surprisingly pretty straight forward. You Think I should get one for my LC? I'd probably do black with red stitching to match with the red interior....🤔
Many thanks for the video! I am also considering installing a new steering wheel. Is there a particular reason why you haven't connected the steering wheel heating?
The owner decided not to connect the heating element because he didn't want to solder the connection....I believe that's what you need to do. If you find any other way of connecting the heating element, please let me know!
@@RichWithCars Many thanks for the quick feedback! Does the lane departure warning system still work? The LC has a self-steering function - I thought the plug was for the steering wheel heating AND for the lane departure warning system
@JoJo97769 lane keep assist still works. The heating element is a wire that needs to be soldered for the heat application. But the functionality of the heated steering wheel is only thru the infotainment
I'll find out where he got it from....and yes, the heating element comes with the steering wheel, but as I mentioned in the video, the owner decided not to install it with the new one because it would need to get soldered.
Thanks for posting this. My LC's OEM steering wheel started peeling at 3500 miles!! Lexus denied the out of warranty fix so I'm looking at getting an after market steering wheel. What company made this one and how is it holding up so far? Thanks @coralchopper
Sorry to hear that. The wheel shouldn't be peeling so quickly. As for the aftermarket company, I'm not sure, but you can send @coralchopper a DM thru IG.

Seems so easy and fast. Pretty cool wheel! Love the yellow accents it fits perfect! Love the vid

Steering wheel looks sick🔥🔥🔥😎💪
It absolutely does! I'm thinking of getting one....but I'd probably want to install the heater element, though...🤔
Thanks for the video. Noticed you mentioned a 10 mm bolt in the center. Is that accurate? Internet is saying it's 19 mm.
I think 10mm was for the battery but the wheel is 19mm....
Yellow body color is cool.
Love the Flare Yellow....stunning in person!
Many thanks for the video!

Does This cause any error Code when None of the Plugs for the Heater connected
@JoJo97769 no it hasn't up until now.

thanks for the video, I have a question after disconnect the battery the driver seat wont recline, did you know how to reset it? thank you.
Sorry - we didn't experience that after disconnecting the battery
Very interesting!
Yes, for sure!
exhaust sounded really good on this one, what exhaust is it using?
I believe it's a straight pipe. @coralchopper ??
@@RichWithCars PPE Muffler Delete. There is drone from 1800-2500rpm. But outside of that range, it sounds pretty awesome.
@@coralchopper car needs no exhaust at all
Nice... Where can I get this type of steering wheel.? I would like to get one for mine. Does it keep the heating element on it?
I'll find out where he got it from....and yes, the heating element comes with the steering wheel, but as I mentioned in the video, the owner decided not to install it with the new one because it would need to get soldered.

Nice! seems very easy. Are you doing an aquarium install into the LC on your next DIY video?
LOL! Would be nice - at least we know that we have plenty of aquariums to perform trials and errors!
