HO Scale: Central Iowa Railroad Club... State Fair Show 2019 FINALLY! (pt3)

Today, we wrap up another year at the Central Iowa Railroad Club's State Fair Show. This is the final video for this series, but who knows, there's always the chance for a random trip up there at some point before we do this all again next August. It's happened before.
I didn't stay till the doors closed for the day since I had to get on the road to come home. I had to get packed up and on my way by 4 that afternoon. But yeah, I had to get the Big Boy out one more time before I left... and no, I didn't put any diesel in the mix. Looks cooler without one. 😂
Was nice to see the familiar faces up there agsin; Keith, Andrew, Larry, Sterling, Caden, Kent to name a few, then also met some fellow TH-camrs; Ericson Moris, James Wright and Robert "Da Bob" Olson.
Speaking of Sterling, I'm wishing him a speedy recovery from major heart surgery that no 13 year old should ever have to go through. First met him and his mom 3 years ago, he's got the train bug worse then me. He also has that beautiful BLI Southern Pacific cab forward fetured near the end of my video from two weeks ago. So yeah, take it easy Sterling, I expect to see you at the Fair next year.
All right, gonna end this here, hope you all enjoyed the series. If you ever get the chance to attend the Iowa State Fair, please stop by the CIRC located next to the giant slide. GEVO "Redbirds." A Gulf Mobile and Ohio engineer once said in Trains Magazine that the road's SD40s in this paint scheme, were referred to as, "Redbirds."
Gorgeous, colorful layout that likely creates future model railroaders out of 10 year old boys (and maybe girls, too.)

Hey Jason! I have watched your videos for years but have not commented. I particularly enjoy the vids from you home club layout. A couple of questions regarding the CIRC layout - Do you know what minimum radius curves that the double stack train was negotiating? Were those double stacks weighted more than NMRA standards? Thanks for sharing this and keep posting the great videos! - Brian
Thanks! No. I do not know the radius of the curves, but they are all large, gonna say nothing less than a 30" and all of their cars should be weighted to NMRA specs.
