I was honestly surprised when I originally searched for the loop to listen to and couldn’t find any. I figured I’d go ahead and make it, I’m a musician with some engineering experience so why not? Glad you enjoyed it!
I don't know why but for me, the outro's instrumental feels like something you'd hear or feel once your life begins to slip away. It's a very strange, yet hauntingly beautiful feeling.
I’ve always interpreted it as the coming down part after you’ve gotten really high. Like he’s high when they are together and now that she’s gone, he is coming down off that high.
Not really the kind of words you want running on your mind to be honest, even though I've been there, I can't say I understand what you're going through since everyone goes through grief his own way, I just hope you're doing ok now and trust me, you will find peace with the situation and things will get better. Every one will tell you to stay strong, but there time you need to break down and let the feeling take its course before you get up stronger, don't be afraid or ashamed of your feelings, let them wash over you so they pass and let you get a chance to move ahead.
When my Gramma died, literally, the family unit-the relatives fell apart & away. She was the matriarch that held us together. My world hasn't recovered since. She died in Feb. 2001. My Mom died this past November. My dad died in the mid 90's. I basically have nothing. Everybody just keeps dying.
@@Dark_Harmony **hugs** I feel you. I'm sorry for your struggles. I too can relate. I lost both of my parents just before the pandemic. They were in their mid 60's. I'm fortunate to have many amazing friends in my life but I still feel empty and lost in many ways. I absolutely fear losing my very best friend. I feel he's the only thing keeping my hanging on.
When I first heard this song, the outro made me cry. Didnt know if it was because it was directed to DRUGS or someone in particular. would like to think the latter. This loop is doing the same effect, but hundredfold! Perfect for Ringtone! Thanx man, made my day!
THANK YOU for doing/posting this. This part (esp on repeat) is so moody, so cutting, so penetrating...it's a true friend in a world that's (mostly) lost sight of what's most important. THANK YOU (again) for posting something that has not.
Anytime! Every time it got to this part in the song I’d think “I really wish this part went on longer”. Not cause I think the song needs it, just cause the part is so good haha
Hey, just discovered this. The whole song is brilliant, the video is a masterpiece, and this trance-like melancholy piece compliments the faster/harsher rest of the song as a coda so well. It deserves the appreciation. Thanks man.
My step grandma passed away a few weeks back. She was awful to my mom, sister and i. Truthfully wanted her gone, not to die but to be gone. Now she is, and all i can feel is this emptiness without her despite all the shit she did to us. This part of the song really resonates with me, can't explain why, but it does.
Thank you for creating and posting this loop. I used to manually do this for this song on my discman back in the day. This is so much easier! If by chance you’re taking request for other loops, may I suggest slip slide melting by love not Lisa?
@@evanhilderbrandt I just checked out the song. Idk how I never gave that song a chance. It's actually really good. Especially the part I'm pretty positive this person was referring to. Which, it starts at like 2:28 & goes on till around 4:40. Only thing is, it's For Love Not Lisa, rather than just love not lisa. Anyway, with that being said, it would be awesome if you'd throw that loop together. As for this one, so glad I found this & that you did it. I always felt like I wanted this part to go on longer.
@@rferguson3 I'll take a closer look at this when I get some time to do another loop! Thanks for the research and timestamps too! I really appreciate it
@@evanhilderbrandt Right on. Sounds good man. I appreciate you hitting me back. Oh & I checked out a couple of your bands & good god dude, some beautifully brutal shit. Glad I stumbled upon you/your music.
This is the best part of the song!!! Do you think maybe you could use a different photo though? Maybe use one of the photos from the end of the music video, or maybe a picture of a bunch of bats. That would be really awesome!!! Thank you for making this video!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😃
@@evanhilderbrandt Speaking of... would love to hear a loop of the last part of 8 Billion (Trent and Atticus from the Before The Flood soundtrack) - after the annoying whistle stops. Around the 6:30 second mark. It's probably the most hauntingly beautiful piano I've ever heard.
@@gamiensrule Look son I grew up looking up to Reznor, but the amount of unconditional ass kissing here is sick. Also if I were him, I'd tell them all to stuff their positive feelings, because Nine Inch Nails isn't positive in any way shape or form. Reznor is a lot like Hitler.

I swear this is my favourite part of the song 😭
It’s sooooooo good
Sometimes I come back to this outro and allow myself to grieve and cry for myself, for those I've lost, and it feels....so. damn. good.
This is what I play in my head to drown out other invasive earworms.
