I very appreciate your concept of an alternative perspective on touristic spots and focus off the beaten path, I just think you could have gone deeper, with a more curious, positive inspection of Trabzon region. I've been to beautiful Turkiye many times and moving there in January to buy a home. Greetings from distant Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Thank you for sharing! Trabzon has pluses and minuses like any other places. Here I shared my view on the city and the region.
It would be nice, if you could also tell, what else you would like to see in such a video.
Btw, hope to visit Brazil next year : )

I really liked Trabzon actually. And although its history is a bit more hidden, I disagree that it is not visible today or that it is not a historical city anymore. Lots of beautiful old houses, caravanserais, old Byzantine churches (almost all turned into mosques), mosques... all hidden in its many cobbled stone alleys. It has centuries old bazaars with artesans and quirky cafes, the vibrant meydan square with its old warehouses, a castle in a unique geographic setting, the unique Hagia Sophia and its fascinating history as the capital of a mini empire. True, it is somehow rough around the edges. But that is compensated by its really affordable prices and lively, authentic citylife unspoilt by mass tourism.

There are stand alone ancient buildings and places in Trabzon, but unfortunately, the whole historical fabric of the city has not been preserved.
For example, I was in Gaziantep, there are also problems with the preservation of historical buildings, but in the city you feel the history better, because there is a solid historical center.
I didn't mean to offend the residents of the city in the video. I just think it's important to point out the problems, in the hope that the city will become better from criticism.

To a significant extent, yes. But there are patches of historical conjunctions, such as what you saw from the Zagnos bridge, in the streets of the Bazaar and the walled district. But much of it is not well maintained and quite hidden. Trabzon's city government however should make more effort to renovate these old houses, the cobble stone streets and to provide more tourist information.

I agree that the state should pay more attention to the preservation and maintenance of the historical part of the city.

The people visit Trabxone are mainly arabs they are coming for two reasons first for the community is conservative in trabxone where no western tourists no naked or bare women in streets and people wear modestly and decently
Second reason is mild weather and the grean nature with rivers lakes and waterfall that they do not have in their countries

Yes, you are right. I even took several interviews with people from Arab countries. They said similar reasons for coming to Trabzon.

But in general there is no comparison between number of visitors and tourist in Trabzone with other Turkish touristic destination like Capadokia , Istanbul , Izmir , Antalya, Badrum , Fetihye, and other cities no comparison at all
