so basically the biggest difference is that they have different basic combo length: dante hits 3 times, nero 4, and vergil 5 times, and the total damage only higher cause they simply do more hits - although there is some slight difference in damage and speed when you examine the combo closer
forgot to take Vergil's concentration gauge into account, and if its low then you deal less damage, so if you just run up to the enemy and start hitting it might deal lower damage, so perhaps you need to add the amount of time of standing around and waiting a bit for it to fill up, and its constantly draining down or filling up depending on how you move and what you do, its kinda hard to measure even his basic damage perfectly - but in this case, I used constant full gauge, cause I forgot about the void's setting that keeps it on tier 2
damnit, I forgot that Vergil's concentration gauge is set to be unlimited automatically, and I don't know how much a full gauge is effecting his attacks.... he might attack a bit faster and stronger because of it..........
ok I checked it, and basically, without concentration, Vergil only does 20 damage with his most basic attack, which is considerably lower - however, you recover concentration automatically by just standing, so lets assume you'd do that and thats his baseline level of attack - cause its kinda hard to achieve lowest possible damage and keep the concentration lowest possible, since it goes up automatically, making it not really possible to control
I wanted to calculate some things you didn't, so here. Average damage per hit: Dante, 240/3=80 damage Vergil, 375/5=75 damage Nero, 280/4=70 damage DPS: Dante, 240/1.14=210,53 DPS Vergil (is a bit more of a hassle since you didn't provide the time it took to do a combo, and I don't know your parameters, so I'll just have to make an educated guess), 375/1,8=208,33 DPS Nero, 280/2.2=127,27 DPS Funny how these results translate pretty well into each character's power level lore-wise, except for Nero's DPS lol.
oh nice, you see I don't know how to calculate averages :'D but I like the verdict of 80 / 75 / 70 for Dante - Vergil - and Nero, seems like the most lore-accurate - they are all almost equally powerful perhaps, just with some tiny number differences :"D but its only counting their basic combo, so probably not too fair in comparison with their full potentials - it was just a silly little experiment - oh yeah I didn't count how much time it takes for Vergil to complete his full combo, and stopped the timer at the point where he hits 4 times, cause there he already reaches Dante's damage of 240, but also even over-doing it by +10
Virgil alwas was easy version of dante and much stronger. He just much easer at piloting and deal to much dmg. Character for plesuring ego and fun actually
but who can make the basic combo get the most DPS if the only rule is only pressing triangle during the combo? I need to know if tomboy triangle spam is even good.
Ah yes, my favorite Dante's weapon: Dante
its literally called Dante :'D ok its full name is devil sword dante
@@LadyAsmodeus Well judging by the royal guard Dante probably can fight on his own without his weapons
@@LadyAsmodeusNonono
You've got a point, people shorten Devil Sword Sparda to just Sparda, the same can be done for Dante 👍

"1.14 seconds for Dante"
"1.3 for Vergil"
"10 miliseconds faster than Dante"
ughhh...
i did not expect 4:05
Vergil's "sheath bitch slap" and the conspiracy at the end killed me 😂
Nice video, sis
thank you :'3 yeah he is OP just for fun~
4:01 holy crap

There is a multiplier from 0.8 to 1.2 depending on the concentration.
@@Egor_Bessonov yeah on low concentration, for example his basic attack deals only 20 damage, that goes up to 50 with full concentration
4:28 in the manga or DMC 5 visions of V. The human half of Vergil are the main characther
Is it me or math is not mathing with the speed calculations
uuuuuuuuuuuh idk
you literally asking the worst person about numbers
No.

Never been this early to a new upload, i can already tell this is gonna be good
Love from india ❤ 🇮🇳
love from hungary :3
What is speed in DT/SDT form?
Vergil combo A - last hit: one demon turns into two demons
I'm not sure but he is probably faster in every movement
@LadyAsmodeus He really can destroy the enemy from one combo A.
which dmc 3 ost did you use in the background?
Divine Hate - Vergil's version~ ( when you play as vergil )
Virgil alwas was easy version of dante and much stronger. He just much easer at piloting and deal to much dmg. Character for plesuring ego and fun actually
Yep, that's why he is the special edition motivated character.
Yet dante is better

I need to know if tomboy triangle spam is even good.
tomboy is certainly stronger I would say~
You forgot my boy V
I love him too but intentionally didn't include him~
