@@kevin-lu I still think his old daycare let him watch it at least once. He recognized Blue way too quickly.
We started the Koala boxes similar to when you started yours but got a completely different order. For example, we only received thw Ocean box now.
The mail box is one of our daughter's favorite boxes - even after nearly a year, we still haven't used the cutting activity but she uses the bag and envelopes to put her art in and "deliver" it to us. Also, grandma hid letters there when she visited and our daughter still pretends to find them every day. It's such a cute activity which we got tons of use from. I think the only activity she loved more and uses more is the doctor's kit 😉 wishing your son lots of fun exploring.
Btw, I noticed that usually one activity in the box is really age appropriate for our daughter but the second one isn't. So I keep them in our art box to wait until she is ready. Gives us use out of our boxes for an even longer duration.
My son right now is loving the mail bag, but not to carry mail but his favorite vehicles 🤣. Probably into mail as we never really introduced the concept of mail/letters to him. Now if they where Amazon packages he’d be very interested lol.
The boxes do seem a bit mixed that one activity is age appropriate while the other requires a bit more skills.
Where and how do you organize the kiwico crafts/papers? It looks fun and I’m tempted to restart my kiwico subscription with Koala crate...
I did like seeing your son’s reactions immediately to the box. Like what he gravitated towards and if he was excited or not. And also , it was interesting to see how you explain the activity to him.
Nothing too organized as I just put all crafts related stuff into one large plastic bin. This way if I need paint or glue it's all just in one location rather than trying to remember if I kept in the craft bin or different bin specifically for KiwiCo craft/box specific. With the Koala crates being more craft related the materials usually get used up, so they don't take up quite as much room as the Panda crate stuff.
Oh this is really sweet! We finally get to start our koala crate subscription this month, I can't wait!
Also, I agree, I think it'll be easier for you to do the unboxing by yourself and save the activities to do with Alastair

KiwiCo age ranges are always so perplexing to me. I think they the ranges are too wide.
The weird thing is the activities are a bit mixed so maybe when they say 2-4 they mean that one activity for 2 and another for 4 😅
