I don't have a good enough computer to run this game, but I do play the base DRG game on my XBox One. Here are my favorite weapon pairs for each class in that game, which I use for Deep Dives or for general purpose playthroughs: Gunner: Minigun and Revolver Engineer: Shotgun and Breach Cutter Driller: Flamethrower and Wave Cooker Scout: Plasma Carbine and Boomstick
The Driller just doesn't have a weapon that says Driller. Like Engineer you would think drones and turrets. Driller you think... drilling? I think the Driller needs a class based around either terrain destruction, or maybe weapons that shoot over/through it. Kind of seems he is a status effect guy, but that seems like it doesn’t work in hand with drilling alot.
If we're talking about making Artifacts relevant: 1) XP scanner should give a set % of your current level, so it stays relevant all game (instead of being virtually useless post lvl 30). 2) Barley Bulb Juice should give move speed AND and small armor buff (+1 Armor?), and the buff should last for 5s (so it's easier to keep the buff active). 3) Tripod should also have a 5s buff (for the same reason as BBJ). 4) Red Sugar should give 5 max hp instead of 2 as there isn't that much red sugar in an entire run, or should give +1 Armor to make it a double whammy of survivability. And the Belts should get those suggested buffs (although the Freeze Belt is actually fairly useful as is). Maybe they could both have an additional +10% Status Effect Damage instead to be the Status Damage options? All the "bad" artifacts need is a little tweak and they could become good viable options instead of being almost instant-ignore trash. 😌
Did you ever try that setup somebody recommended in a previous videos comment section? It was something about driller/interrogator with Collette wave cooker with nano wave upgrade to boost the number of burn stacks. They were claiming it was some of the highest damage in the game properly setup.
my favourite weapons on driller are Acid grenade, Wave Cooker and Sludge Pump. Sludge pump is not good weapon though, flame turret is better then sludge.
@@OHRyePlays I like wave cooker +sludge because sludge needs enemies to stand on poison trail and wave cooker freezes enemies on poison trail. I kinda wish sludge had over-clock which increases poison trail potency by 100% and reduces enemies movement speed by -50%. The sludge right now has a lot of upgrades related to boosting raw damage but raw damage of this weapon is too weak. it does like 60 damage when it needs like 100-150 damage to make any sense for those +3 beam and +raw damage overclock's.
@@dodang_9147 I think they should pulse damage when they're on the floor like a stompy boy turret, would make them far more useful. (And fire rate, yes)
I feel like pickled nitra is like that ex you broke up with because of excessive drama. Theres aways that urge to go out with her again because shes insanely hot, but the rational part of your brain is like wait no dont do it hahaha.
I feel 100% lifetime is always useless as the lifetime is already so long and the reload time so short. You go from 95% uptime to 97% per map.... like, kinda useless.

Wave Cooker would have been next on my list. I should do a build with that one soon again.

wym, Impact Axe is op, should be in everyone's top 5! And the last thing you want is the driller giving you ass with hands like that.
