A bit of sunshine is amazing, I've been the same, glad you've decided to not wrip it out, it's a cracking build, that garage area is amazing, already saving up for what van I wanna do when this one is done, good to see you back pal
GR8 to see you back Ben, the draw is a great idea be good for me speakers in back of van after a gig great job buddy. like you not been in ours much over winter but nearly time were allowed out at last, we've booked 4 nights away with friends in there van first night were officially allowed, doing some fishing and dog walking cannot wait,. Great video keep up the good work Ben.
Hey Steve, I hope you're keeping well mate.. I cannot wait to get back out in the van. My love for the old gal has returned and I've been tinkering with her for the past few weeks in preparation for this lockdown to end 👌🏻 That sounds pukka mate, where you off too?
@@BejamVan All well thanks Ben, you will soon be out again lol, a friend of mine has just bought a place up Lincolnshire, www.oasislakes.co.uk so off there to have a look, the dog is as excited as us she knows something is happening now back on the van lol, looking forward to meeting up somewhere local hopefully this year if permitted lol , look forward to the next video Ben
Glad your back mate , i was starting to worry that you and your side kick had been locked up for riding your bikes in lock down.... You made that draw look so eazy nice one 👍 Stay safe 👍👍🚙
Hey Julian 👊🏻 hahaha I haven't seen much of Ben in this bloody lockdown.. as soon as its over we'll be back to mischief 😉 Cheers mate.. I hope you're keeping well 👍🏻
Good to see ya back Mate 👍 once lockdown is lifted you will have so many more vlog opportunities.... don’t sell the van unless you’re sure about doing another, lot of hard work went into that one 👌
Cheers mate. I think being locked down and not being able to get out and use the van left me feeling fairly negative towards it all to be honest 🙄 I appreciate you guys keeping me positive when I make these vids 👍🏻👊🏻 I hope you're keeping well chap, its always great to hear from you 😊
Good to see you getting back at it! Ripping it out would be a tough decision! Especially like you say, this is the time of year where you wanna be out! - Were a few months off finished yet!
Heey.. thanks guys 🤙🏻 I think lockdown and winter combined got me down and not thinking straight 😅 now the sun is starting to shine my enthusiasm is coming back 🙌🏻 Keep at it 💪🏻 it'll be worth it in the end and hopefully we can get a summer of freedom vanning 🤞🏻😊
Good to see ya back mate! Pleased you decided not to rip out and start again, that would have been a pain and held you up big time especially as you're now working. Haha the kids...yeah that sort.of thing drives me nuts too! I'm bit worried about the pull out drawer, will those runners take the weight of the stuff you're planning to load in, your bike etc? It's a great idea don't get me wrong but you don't want those runner ball bearings popping out under the strain. I guess you've thought of that already though. Looking forward to the next update. Great to have you back!
Thanks mate 👍🏻 It had been going through my head for weeks, I think it would have been a big mistake to start again now 🙄 The runners say they are rated for 120kg which should be okay for my bikes and the other bits I want to load onto it. I think I'll still have to be careful, load the heavier stuff at the back so there's little weight on the front when it's fully extended.. if that makes sense 😅 It's great to hear from you mate.. I want to keep these coming again 👊🏻
@@BejamVan Thinking about it I'm basing my "runner ball bearings" thought on some cheap wardrobe draw runners that came in a self assembly pack. They were as stiff as hell to pull out despite some adjustments and lubrication (the runners not me! 🤣) and one time I opened the drawer something popped and tiny ball bearings were laying on the carpet from the knackered runner! I guess your runners will have wheels in so much more sturdy. 120kg rating is great! Hey I meant to say how good a fit was your pine bed panel eh?! See you on the next one! Stay safe.
😅😅 crack me up lol I hope these don't fall apart.. I guess only time will tell 😉 Cheers mate, to be fair there was a few fine adjustments that weren't shown on the video 😆 Take care chap 👍🏻
Boom he’s back . Nice to see you man . The draw looks good . Emma wanted me to do one but have it as a pull out seat at the back of the van . But sadly no room for that one . Good job man what’s next
Cheers dude.. I've been fairly down about the van to be honest, it's great to have some enthusiasm back 💪🏻 I need to get some bike mounts for the drawer but it turned out well 🙌🏻 just glad I haven't got to keep climbing in to get stuff out 😅 Got loads of odd jobs to film over the next few weeks, so more carpentry, a bit of plumbing and some rust repairs 🤦🏼♂️ hopefully I'll have the camrea stabilisation on next time 😉 Can't wait to get out 🤞🏻 Very very close to 5k dude.. well done 👏🏻
I'm new to your channel. I have a sprinter and want to ad a six foot long draw under my bed, do I need six foot long draw runners or can you use shorter ones? I'm in the UK too and was looking for a link to the ones you used. purchased
Hey.. if you'd like the draw to extend 6ft out of the van then you'll want 6ft draw runners. I wouldn't now recommend my runners haha, they took weeks to come and I've had a a few issues with them but the system itself works really well. The guy that I got my bike mounts from now sells runners or is in collab with a UK company selling them.. worth checking them out or contacting them 😊 gsfslides.com/conbas-base-mounts-full-locking-floor-undermount/ I hope that helps and good luck with the build.. I'm happy to help where I can 🤙🏻
Hey Rob, these are the drawer runners I bought.. www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08HWP74VM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_JHR2HC4DN4T9CGNPX5AE?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 To be honest, I usually recommend items and put links in the video description but in this case the drawer runners took 3 months to arrive (maybe half down to covid). They did refund me the total cost though which was good so I got them for free 😄👍🏻 Cheers dude
Hi, Im not sure if you are going to replace your double front seat for a single, there is a guy here in York advertising single seat bases for sale at £40 each, he buys and sells sprinters and has a few spares available, I exchangesd my double seat for a complete single seat , base and floor mat. Let me know if you require mare info.
Hey mate, sorry I'd only just seen your message 🤦🏼♂️ I'm still in 2 minds as to what to do to be honest. If I take the bulk head out I'll swivel the double seat, if i cut a door into it I'll stick the single seat in.. I just haven't decided 😕 I might even end up leaving it 😅 Thanks for letting me know mate, I'll keep you posted 🤙🏻
Good to see you back glad you didn't rip your van up
