    Matt this video was truly epic! Thank you so much for taking the time to share it and we'll definitely share it with our backers so they can get organised as well as you did! - Az

      Thanks so much, Az and the rest of the Lucky Duck Team, both for watching and for making such a great game! Can't wait for Elemental Uprising, it's going to be amazing and you can bet that I'll be Unboxing that one when it arrives down the track too.
      Thanks for the incredible storage solution, too, it's brilliant!

    Emperor Chest is really nice. Although I still can't really put it on its side (e.g. during transport) as the tower cards will move out of their slots. Maybe something that can be fixed with a simple mod. Anyone have any good ideas? I think if the lid of that tray had some indents, it would block the cards from being able to slide out of their slot. Maybe something to pre-build in for the Elemental Uprising tray.

      Hey Getijsem! Thanks for watching!
      Yes, I had the same thoughts about this. If the tower tray lid had indents to match the racks in the tray it would reduce movement when on it's side, but I would also be worried about the weight of the tiles on top or next to the tower tray in that case. If some of the tower cards became dislodged, the weight of the other items might cause the tower cards to bend around those indents, which obviously isn't ideal.
      I have always tried to keep the chest stored flat rather than on it's side, but I realise that this isn't practical for everyone, especially during transport. I'll have a play with some cardboard spacers and see what I can come up with in the meantime!

    Nice video!! I hope someday I can get to do it like you if I have that box... But the problem is that now that I recently bought rift in time in ebay. I can't find any page that sell the emperor chest. If you know that would be awesome.
    New sub here!

      Thanks for watching and for the compliments! The Emperor Chest was an exclusive part of the new campaign on Gamefound. I think they have locked any additional backers from joining but you may be able to find access to the box and some of the add-ons via Lucky Duck’s website. There are other providers out there, but it depends how much you’re willing to pay for shipping.

    I just assembled this yesterday. I can't bear to throw those solid empty cardboard boxes away after packing everything into the Emperor Chest. WHAT DO I DO WITH THEM!?

    • @hpgamingau
      @hpgamingau  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @nerdsomnia... the struggle is real. I did eventually make that decision to recycle the boxes. It's a matter of space and struggle that all tabletop gamers face.
      I will say that I've kept all the insert trays that were extras - and am using them for D&D character trays, extra component trays, or sharing out the polyominos from KR so that they are within reach of all the players.
      But the outer boxes... I use the main KR one as a stand/shelf for my webcam, and the others I store other bits and pieces in - minis/scenery for my D&D campaigns. So they aren't ded. Just repurposed. :)

      @@hpgamingau Fantastic ideas! I would probably get rid of the inserts and only keep the component trays. Thanks!

    Great video! Do you know if there's anywhere besides gamefound to buy the Emperor box? The page says it won't ship until May 2023 which is kind of a bummer

      Hey Jacob! Thanks for watching! I believe that they're holding everything back on Gamefound due to the impending release of Elemental Uprising, but - depending on where you are - Guf Games is going to be restocking just the storage solution at around $49.99 AUD.
      My guess is that they'll become available, but we'll most likely have to wait for Elemental Uprising to release first. :)

    No space for the 3D towers?

    • @hpgamingau
      @hpgamingau  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not an official space, no, but I do feel as though you could manipulate the contents a little to try to fit them in. I ordered the 3D towers to come with the Elemental set... (why I didn't get them first time round is beyond me!), so when it all arrives, we'll be revisiting that for sure!

    Any idea how to repack the deluxe recrafted upgrade kit into the original non emperor box? I haven't been able to figure it out yet

    • @hpgamingau

      Hey Jay! Thanks for watching and hope this helps!
      You'll need to take out everything from the box that sits on top of the tray at the base (anything above the plastic cover). Discard the cardboard tic-tac-toe pieces, and place the tower tray on top of the rest of the contents of the box. Put all the 3x3 tiles into the recess of the tower tray lid, and then place the damage tiles tray on top, against one side. You can then place the 5 hero trays around and on top of the damage tiles, with one of those trays on the same level as the damage tile tray. The booklets and manuals can then lay on top. You'll need to invert one of the manuals so the spine is on the opposite side, to balance out the booklets. It's not the most pretty way of packing, but it fits. :)
      Let me know how you go! - Matt
