My favorite thing about these videos is how casual the commentary is. It feels more like a friend playing a game in the room chatting with me. It's very natural and not forced, which I've always really appreciated.
Ah, this game! This game is so accurate as to how you live with BPD. It doesn't help that it has to do with a little brother...mine died when I was 11, and he was 9. I was riddled with guilt because my parents told me it was my job to watch over him. My mom said so many times she wished I had died instead of my brother - and I just learned from her to talk to myself like these monsters do. These monsters are so very, very familiar. As someone who suffers from BPD, I can tell you - I've said every single thing to myself that those monsters have said to Kay. It's so hard to live when you don't know who you are, and you have no way to find out on your own. I can't tell you how hard this hit me. This is exactly how I felt going through therapy -- one bright spot, and then turmoil in the storm the rest of the way. If you also suffer from Borderline Personality Disorder - I implore you to see if you can get therapy. EMDR and a strict medication regimen has kept me sane and able to traverse the storm inside. I don't talk to myself like this anymore, and when I do - I can now tell that voice to shut up because it's wrong, wrong, wrong. I'm so very glad you are playing this.
I'm very sorry you face so much pain and neglect, its not your fault of your brother's death, and your mother shouldn't say those things, bc she should know that your her only child left, her only gift left and if your gone, she will be upset, and I'm glad you are going through it strong
@@melissanoor7208 Thank you so much for the kind words. Luckily, my mom isn't around anymore. She was a huge fan of opiates and OD'd in 2014. I stopped talking to her in 2013 when on Mother's Day - she got mad that I hadn't called her yet (It was 10 am when my opening shift from Starbucks was over). So she left me some disgusting messages and told me yet again, how my little brother would have called and this nonsense. I told her via text "Happy Mother's Day. You'll never talk to me again! :D" ...and I meant it and never talked to her again. My extended family said I was awful and shouldn't have cut her off...but there was no way I could handle her telling me that I should have died instead of my brother one more time. I've recently learned to be myself thanks to EMDR and lots and lots and lots of therapy and medication. Again - thank you. It means a lot to hear other humans remind me that I did not deserve to hear those words. It reminds me there are good people like you out there.

@@jenniferdunstan5065 yeah it was awful. The fact that I could feel the slimy wraps around my leg, the cold flow of the ocean current made it even worse.
So here's my interpretation of the symbolism so far. So obviously our character is a bird girl and the sea is meant to be a conflicting environment to what is actually home to her. The boat is a safe space but it's only a survival tool to cope with the trauma on a daily basis, it's not meant to be home. Her "loneliness" is actually stagnancy. Her just sitting in the boat and not connecting to anyone just tolerating the negative emotions inside of her. Essentially just riding the waves knowing you don't belong there. Only when she starts moving and actively unpacking her trauma does the boat become a safe space. The backpack is therapy and she actively looks at the bits of her trauma and recognizes it in a healthy way. The corruption is her truama. This is why when she ignores it, it hurts her and leaves her alone when she avoids it. It's symbolic of how our internal pain can create avoidance behavior that people get when they deal with depression and anxiety. The monsters are her internal dialogue, and her self-criticism, which if you notice they're not wrong. What they're saying is valid to the situation but it's the approach to that critique that's toxic. The monsters are the violence we show ourselves when faced with a mistake but when we start to deal with our self-criticism with more love and respect we can see and correct our mistakes more easily. This is why embracing the light actively hurts. It's because to an extent it's learning not to be perfect but to show love to our imperfections so we can grow which can be a very painful experience.

The two have fled home from their father following his descent into alcoholism since the unfortunate death of their mother; his violent actions towards them have resulted in Taku becoming seriously injured. Taking refuge in the top of a clock tower, Miku begins to explore the city in her motorized fishing boat in search of supplies to treat Taku. She scales buildings, locating relief crates that had been parachuted in during the crisis. The whole time she is observed by aquatic beings who are revealed to be survivors of the city that have undergone a complete mutation to better thrive in their unfamiliar environment. Miku also realizes to her shock that she herself is now mutating in a similar way. Eventually she locates the final crate and Taku recovers. They are then confronted by the mutants who perform some ritual that purges Miku of her mutation, making her human again. The siblings then take their leave and move on from the city. but youre playing a girl named kay who suffers from such strong loneliness that her feelings of hopelessness, anger and worthlessness turn to the outside and she becomes a monster. As Kay, the player explores an empty flooded city and interacts with its scaly, red-eyed creatures to reveal why Kay turned into a monster. Kay's emotions manifest into giant monsters standing in her way, trying to help but also destroy her. Kay needs to interact with and understand their underlying intentions to overcome the negative effects of those emotions. The game is in the core an inner dialogue of a person trying to come to terms with their own shortcomings.
the monsters and scenarios looks so cool and creepy, but the dialogues feels so unatural and weird, like each time a character talks feels very unatural
This game is beautiful and I love all the deep meaning going on. All I hope is that this game doesn't actually put any blame on Kay like she's doing in her own mind as she was just a child herself and was in NO WAY qualified to handle what Sunny was going through. Yes she could have listened better but she was a teenager. It isn't fair to put all of that on her.
Hey Mike I recently been binging through some Asian Horror Games and came up on a pretty good one based on Taiwanese Folklore and even from the Movie based on the same thing. It recently got released on Steam and it's called "The Bridge Curse Road to Salvation". I won't spoil on it though just saying something about Spirits as it's worth since the reviews are very positive.
I do like this game I just kinda wish the pacing was better because I feel like we got to way too many plot points in the first five minutes like we have a establishing shot with a girl then we meet the ghost and the ghost gets consumed all in a matter of five minutes
You should play Omori. It's another game with a character named Sunny with a older sister. It's one of those games that seems innocent until you get farther and realize the dark truth
I have this game, too,but this version is different from mine. There's more language, the characters have different voices, I even remember Sunny looking different. I remember him in a blue shirt, and shorter, with a different face.
Already figured that out, when the real Super Horror Bro posted that message. I'm pretty sure that the example he used was this exact one. I might've even been the one who told him about the scammers.
Hopefully part 2 can make me sympathetic toward Kay again 'cause watching how she ignored Sunny made me *really* dislike her. I thought the story was gonna go that the boys forced him to keep his mouth shut and that's why she didn't know, but nope, she just ignored everything he said.
This game is awesome ✨! I remember when I was bullied too due to being black! It always hurt mentally and even now when I remember the past, it always makes me upset 😭 and just like Sunny, I felt that if I end my life the pain and negativity will go away! Ever since that experience, I was always a loner and introvert! 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤 I want to see what happened next!!!! Part 2 Part 2!!!!!
I remember playing this. It was fine and had a nice story/soundtrack, but other than a couple stages, it got a bit boring… It was still a very nice and short game

also, ravens are said to symbolize ill omens and loss, however the symbolism of this bird is quite complex, and is also said to symbolize prophecy and insight (as a talking bird)
for those confused about the raven and crow, here's a few things to note on these 2 birds:
crows make a caw caw sound, ravens make a more croaking sound
the feathers of a raven are more fluffier than a crow's feathers
the beaks are also different. Raven beaks are thicker with a curve near the end.
while somewhat on the topic of ravens, I highly recommend that you read Edgar Allan Poe's the raven (also, bit of an interesting fact: Poe chose the raven because he wanted a non-reasoning creature capable of speech)

the monsters and scenarios looks so cool and creepy, but the dialogues feels so unatural and weird, like each time a character talks feels very unatural
10:48 I’m pretty sure that’s a whale (and it’s not normal!)
(It is a whale)
I have never heard of this game until this video came out!
This gameplay was very interesting! Hope to see more of it^^
I've played sea of solitude there are 12 chapters and I finished the game its a really good game
Taco
I do like this game I just kinda wish the pacing was better because I feel like we got to way too many plot points in the first five minutes like we have a establishing shot with a girl then we meet the ghost and the ghost gets consumed all in a matter of five minutes
You should play Omori. It's another game with a character named Sunny with a older sister. It's one of those games that seems innocent until you get farther and realize the dark truth
YAAAAAAY ANOTHER HORROR GAME🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
I actually think I saw ad for this game and I was quite intrigued in the ad
Everyone - a spirit I guess
SHB MIKE - guys look! A fairy in raincoat !
The bullys: Sunny isn’t even a boys name!
*Looks at the game Omori looks away* if you know you know
I have this game, too,but this version is different from mine. There's more language, the characters have different voices, I even remember Sunny looking different. I remember him in a blue shirt, and shorter, with a different face.
Where do I text it to?
@⁺⓵⓸⓪⓸⓽⓼⓻⓪⓵⓺⓵SupperHorrorbro Seriously. Where do I text the number to? I have no idea. I want to use it, but I don't know where to text it to.
@@loganbrony130 ignore it thats a bot
Already figured that out, when the real Super Horror Bro posted that message. I'm pretty sure that the example he used was this exact one. I might've even been the one who told him about the scammers.
This was awesome and very interesting I can't wait to see more
Hopefully part 2 can make me sympathetic toward Kay again 'cause watching how she ignored Sunny made me *really* dislike her. I thought the story was gonna go that the boys forced him to keep his mouth shut and that's why she didn't know, but nope, she just ignored everything he said.
Your fish is my Sleep paralysis demon
i wanna see more of this omg!!
your videos are frikking awesome
YES YES YES I LOVE THIS GAME
Definitely want a part 2.
Such a cool game, I would love to see more!
Oh!! There are loads of games like these on PlayStation!
This Is Like Little Nightmares
This game is awesome ✨!
I remember when I was bullied too due to being black! It always hurt mentally and even now when I remember the past, it always makes me upset 😭 and just like Sunny, I felt that if I end my life the pain and negativity will go away! Ever since that experience, I was always a loner and introvert! 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
I want to see what happened next!!!!
Part 2 Part 2!!!!!
@⁺⓵⓸⓪⓸⓽⓼⓻⓪⓵⓺⓵SupperHorrorbro Oh! 😃 Thank you so much!!!!
Yes part 2! I MUST KNOW THE LORE.
I remember playing this game! It was amazing
I remember playing this. It was fine and had a nice story/soundtrack, but other than a couple stages, it got a bit boring… It was still a very nice and short game
Hey @SuperHorrorBro I recommend you play “Super Mario 85 PC Port!” It’s basically like Sonic.EXE but with Mario. BTW I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS! IT ALWAYS ENTERTAINS ME
OOOOOOOOOOOO YOU MAKE ME FEEL HAPPY EVERY DAAAAAAAAAY
Wow, this writing is even better than the 2003 masterpiece: The Room.
