Great video ned. Love that your taking time to stop at and talk about the roadside memorials. We pass these everyday and it's nice to hear wat has happened n hope we can learn from the mistakes that cost these people there lives

I’ve been in similar position as you and you are right about the fact that you have to be able to get in and deliver the goods. The company’s I drove for had a good policy was to be able to get in to the bay with a truck or no deliveries.

i have a question. With the advent nowadays or rear view cameras, wouldn't it make sense to have one that could be magnetically attached to the back of a trailer. That way you put it on when you get to a loading dock, such as the last on, or when you had to back up from the shopping center. It would only be on temporarily when needed, and kept in the cab. You would only need a small monitor. Makes sense to me, but im probably missing something that would make it unworkable. what do you think?
I agree with you Ned about the cyclists! I myself have a spinal cord injury and I worked in the NRH until recently. I personally know a few people left paralysed from cycling accidents. Keep her lit and keep on trucking.

I think of somewhere between the 43:30 and 45:50 mark of the video about a rant about stupid things that other road users do. I remember the TV series "People Behaving Badly" and "Caught Misbehaving" (both narrated by Phoenix, Arizona resident [but former San Fran Bay Area resident] Stanley Roberts) about how police had caught many drivers' bad behaviour. That in Toronto, the city I call home, has had restaurant indoor dining rooms shut has meant not seeing my girlfriend and thus not driving but when I have, blowing horn has for me been rare. I will if I observe behaviour on the road that is sufficiently dangerous AND I am a passenger, I will, if the opportunity presents itself, phone the police (although again I have found many drivers well enough behaved that I can't think of a time I have ever reported bad behaviour).
