I have the set of KingArt gel sticks and they work great for filling in backgrounds! I'm not sure if you have those but the way I use them is I scribble some onto my Caran d'Ache palette and I have different size blending brushes that I use to pick up the color from the palette and apply it to the page. It's really easy to blend colors that way. Typically I don't apply them directly onto the paper or activate them with water. I also like using the metallic colors from my set of gel sticks on backgrounds. It makes a cool effect. And I've noticed lately that a lot of people are using oil pastels. I haven't tried that yet though! Thanks for sharing your finished pages!😊
I do have a set of US Supply gel sticks (they're a cheaper brand but work similarly) though I've found this brand doesn't work too great with the palette +blending brush technique. I did get some soft oil pastels recently, I've just been a tad scared to try them out lol! I just have to get over the fear of screwing up and try them out! I have a couple of less precious books I'm thinking of using to learn how to use them first =D
Some lovely pages there 😊
Thanks so much 😊
Love the page with the black acrylic paint and butterflies and rainbows!
Beautiful page in Lulu Mayo, especially the rainbow page! Your pages are incredible ❤
Thank you! I am falling in love with Lulu Mayo's style. It works so well for my love of saturated colors!
So cool!! You're JB book is coming along so nicely. I too like wallpaper pages. Happy coloring!! 🤍🖖👽
The magical woodland page is my favourite! Such nice, light colours! ❤
Thank you! I default a lot to brighter saturated colors, so this was a nice break from that with the more pastel vibes X3
So cute! U did a very nice job of coloring. Great color choices!
Thanks so much! I love picking out the colors for each page.
