Commando helicopters flying in snowy conditions❄️

Merlins of the Commando Helicopter Force, Royal Marines, practice flying in poor visibility at RNAS Yeovilton. Once the snow settled, Wildcats of the British Army and Royal Navy came out to play.
The Royal Navy operate a fleet of Commando Merlin helicopters for use by the Royal Marines. The Navy also operate Wildcats as a Maritime Attack Helicopter designed to operate from frigates and destroyers. The British Army use them for recon, command, control and transportation.

That AW101 is a awesome Helicopter! Too bad US politics made the USMC give it up being Marine One, after all the backers for the runner up seemed to pull all oversight and allow it to go over budget, canceling it and reawarding it to the runner up by default since they had no competition at that point. HMX-1 would be happily flying it right now.
