Kayaking Poole Harbour

I would like to share a 5 minute video of the world's second largest natural harbour, and Europe's largest. Poole Harbour has an area of approximately 36 km2 (14 sq mi). A Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), is preserved for both its beauty of sheer natural magnitude, and the efforts that has gone in to preserving the natural environment and the wildlife within it, both in the water and island land.
On one island I saw antlered deer and for the first time in over 40 years a red squirrel running and hopping along a shore line to a tree right behind me. Slightly smaller than the invasive species of the North American grey squirrel, which carries a pox virus (myxomatosis) that is fatal to the native red squirrel population, and has been devastating to their numbers, thank you Beaver Pest Control for the education on this. Seeing such a rare animal in its own protected environment was a rare treat.
