Hey brother. Season greetings. I've heard of that site, but I do not I looked up one Star note on there. I think I don't look on there because (my logic 😜🤪🫠🤑). Bear with me. Is that additional monetary value is added to the note. There fore giving more incentive to sell the note, and not collect it. I am %100 a numismatic collector. Aside from nostalgic, or sentimental value. There is no more reason to seek additional value... Well brother that my rant for the day. Happy Holidays. See you next Tuesday...
@@legaltender1980 If you're a collector then selling it isn't an option. That note is from a very low print run. Is it worth a lot? Probably not much over face value until the BEP does away with star notes. Then who knows! The only notes I sell are birthday notes because what's the point in keeping them if they have no meaning to me. It not seeking additional value that you look up notes, it's knowing its history. Every note has a story to tell, and I know you like history. Peace & joy
Nice little search. Fives are pretty cool. Series 2006 (released in 2009) for the first colorized Fives. I found a nice Series 1981 Minneapolis District $5 on Saturday and a few other ones since the last time I posted. Making a special little video that will be going out on Christmas Day, then some a usual finds video sometime after that before N.Y.E.
I tell you. I have forgotten more regarding numismatics than I care to admit. Thanks for the clarity on the issue of the Colorized series. (I'm double tap that information, just for my own diligence.) Yeah $5 notes are pretty cool. They are right there in that pocket of affordable, and if the condition is good. A great investment if you ever plan to resale. 1981 Minneapolis. Nice. I am looking forward to the future episodes...
