Hi, where do you get water for your water jug. Ive been using plastic jugs and getting it from walmart but recently microplastics have been worrying me haha. Do you bring your glass jug to any store to get it filled? Is it convenient? Im really considering switching to glass jugs.

I get my water from a natural spring in the area where I live. I don't bring my glass jug cause first off they are heavy with the water in them and secondly I'm afraid that they may break transporting them. What I do is I use jugs that you would use say for camping and I bring those to the area where the natural spring is. I fill them cause they are easier to transport and carry and then transfer the water to the glass jugs. The water is only in the plastic jugs for a short period of time. Hope this helps.

Good question! I would search online like Amazon to see it they may have something to hold your 5 gallon bottle. I know depending on the design of the bottle, you can get half the size bottles that are designed the same as a 20 liter bottles that I have and they just sit on top of the water cool base.

@@amykingdombuilder1237 most will hold them if they are bottom loading. I even got my 6.5 gallon ones to fit with some jerry rigging.
