Thank you for all the love, you lovely, lovely love beasts. I wanted to make sure to let you know that I know about the audio issues, and, as I said in my description, they should be fixed in all future videos. And a huge thank you to everyone who gave audio advice! And next time, I will be sure to flip the sound for your listening pleasure.
    ASMattR is my audio hero!

Thank you for the name drop, Spring! I'm more than happy to lend a helping hand to someone as generous as you, and that's on top of the number of times you've helped me sleep or just chill out :D Can't wait to see what you do with the new settings!

5 years ago this video got me through one of the hardest times in my life, and 5 years later I am still listening to it, through good times and bad. I know you’ve been off TH-cam for several years now but if you still read comments, I want you to know that I am so grateful for the content you produced and the stories you shared with us. Thank you.

I hear you. I developed tinnitus in my left ear back in 2020 that really causes sleeping issues like you wouldn’t believe. This legend’s videos have helped me more than she will ever know and I’m sure there are thousands of folks just like me who reaped amazing benefits from her wonderful videos. A simple thank you will never suffice but it’ll have to do I guess.

I usually put ASMR videos on in the background when I do homework or try to fall asleep, but your videos are so captivating I can't help but hang on every word with all my attention. The things you say are so profound and are all the thoughts I'm unable to organize into speech or writing. Every video you upload speaks right to my soul and ends with me either smiling or crying from your authenticity. No exaggeration here when I say I love you and hope you truly are happy.

I just want each you to know that although you haven’t recorded for many years, I so appreciate your leaving your videos up. I listen to this one and your Prufrock video several times a week and they have sustained me through some dark times. I hope and your family are thriving.

Your conundrum about becoming a parent reminds me of the concept of a Philosopher king being the ideal ruler for their very reticence to lead. The fact that you are concerned about being a good parent is the first indicator that you would be a wonderful mother. Your emotional sensitivity and life experiences will help you on that journey. You're so strong and I love how much you're proving those that thought you were vapid to be entirely out to lunch. You're amazing. Thank you for sharing your stories. I can relate and I am sure so many others can too.

This video really spoke to me. My mom passed away a little over 2 years ago after fighting cancer and other serious related health issues for 13 years. It's like I've lost a piece of myself and the sting still cuts me down to my soul. Loss has really forced me to reevaluate myself and my life and to start over from scratch. In that, there is a silver lining.
Under your sweet voice, I can hear your pain, but you also have immeasurable strength and love. It is brave to share your story, and I just want to send you a huge hug. Wonderful video sweet Spring.

Every time you talk, I can hear you smile. Without even looking at you. That is so rare. And you should pride yourself on that. I'm tremendously in love with your outlook on life. And I'm put at ease when you are talking. Never stop this. You are good at this.

  • @ChillerCabra

It saddens me because behind that beautiful and perky voice... I can hear your pain. But I'm so proud of you. Because in that pain, I also hear strength beyond words. I hear a young woman who has fought demons that would make gods quiver in fear. And that's not something I hear often anymore. Good video. Better sound. Awesome human being.

Deeply touching and relatable. I've never found a way to put into words what I wanted to do but now I have. I want to learn the art of finding in all it's ways because you're right we get to lots of practice with loss. I'll be keeping what you said in mind about working on finding, finding peace, finding acceptance in myself and others and lastly, forgiveness. Thanks for being so open , honest and raw. Thanks for this Spring.

This video really hit a tender place with me. I've only just recently allowed myself to admit that certain things that happened to me while growing up were not okay. And living with the problems that all of that created has caused many more problems which I'm finally confronting and trying to resolve. Thank for being honest. Thank you for being open. Thank you for being there.

I don't think anyone else has transcended the ASMR concept (genre?) quite like you have, in fact not even close - but that's not a criticism of anyone, you're just extraordinary! I think you must have helped thousands of people to deal with their feelings and experiences, and countless others to just be able to relax for a while. Thank you for both the more light-hearted videos and (especially) these serious ones too

This is the first ASMR video I've seen that actually dwells on poetry. As a poet, the craft is all too easily overlooked. Poetry is the language of the soul. It's beauty and honesty intertwined. And in your video, that fusion is so evident and clear, and the undercurrent of emotional passion that ebbed through the video was inspiring. Your spoken words touched me, as I try to move people with my written words. Art, held in the hands of genuinely good people, will always be beautiful. Thank you, Spring. I'm new to the channel -but not for long.

It might be therapeutic for you to write some poetry about your Grandmother. Not to be published or shared, even, for that matter. It's a conversation with yourself that folks don't often have. It's helped me through many family and personal crises. Your words almost inspired me to grab my journal and pen a poem that captures your honesty and your words of reflection. Very pure.

Amazing as always. Working day 12 of 21 in a row at an IT Help Desk at my job. Your beautiful, heartfelt, and touching videos are keeping me sane! Your outer beauty belies some real pain, and perhaps thats why I find your videos so intriguing. Thank you for your honesty, and being a strong enough person to re-visit your difficult past and share those experiences with us. It means so much, and helps us all connect together understanding the complexity, but uniformity of the human experience. We all lose things, but learning to lose is one of, if not the hardest things we ever do. Keep up the awesome work. You truly are the BEST Asmr artist out there right now.

Oh wow what a coincidence! We just read this poem the other day in my Creative Writing course. It really kinda hit me hard in the middle of class, though. I recently lost a very close person. A girl I've known for about 7 years, and have loved for five of those years. She didn't die, no. We were together and everything sort of just, well, fell apart. I won't go into detail because no one cares and this isn't the place for it lol. But yeah. It still hurts. It's been almost a month and I miss her so much. But I know I can't go back to her really. Not yet, at least. It hurts too much. Thank you for the video, Spring.

Thank you for posting this. It's good to discuss things like this, but keep in mind that forgiveness is for you, not for them. Not forgiving someone doesn't hurt the other person. You could live your whole live holding a grudge, and the person you hold that grudge against may not even know. Holding a grudge is allowing someone to continue to victimize you. You don't want to be sitting at home being mad about something that happened decades ago while the person who mistreated or abused you could be out doing something awesome and may not even remember you. I'm not saying forget, but it's important for you(not for them) to forgive.

I can relate to this commentary as I've dealt an abusive father and the passing of many good friends during childhood to adolescence. Through isolation in adulthood and avoiding things I probably should have faced and come to terms with early on I find that nostalgia is quite painful at times. I try and write poetry to alleviate negative thoughts and I think of all I have written this washes away the fear & uncertainty of the future tense. ''Some say that at night when the tide is right, you can walk through the fog and inside of memories. By night with torch and spear he walked into the windy shore anticipating the collective past. An altogether ache of the heart and the realisation there is not another start. He thought to himself "wouldn't it be awful if at the end of your life you discover there wasn't anything worth losing it for?" Sometimes we don't realize when the dream comes true... Just as he turned away and from afar above the sea horizon you could see those moments in time slowly manifest and dissipate like ghost ships sailing fata morgana.''

I came to a point in my life when forgiveness wasn't even an issue. We're all just blundering through here on this little blue dot. If someone has hurt you, it is likely that they themselves were not acting freely. Not in control. If that person is, or was, worthy of our love, then we can still be in relationship. If that person is, or was, not worthy of our love, then we can walk away. As for the hurt itself, if it works on us to make us more truly human, more empathetic to all the sorrows, we can embrace it, in a way. Ah, yes, all the necessary losses! Thank you for this tender video.

She's not the hero that we need right now, but the hero that we deserve. A silent guardian, a watchful protector. Springbok. Lol.

My grandmother is going through dementia and she asks me "How's school?" constantly. She can reply to questions and statements but she can't hold a conversation. She's still happy and laughs a lot but she can't retain any memory since she started having symptoms. My grandfather had Alzheimer's which was so incredibly sad. Alzheimer's is my only fear in life. Whether it's me who get's it or my dad, it is the most painful thing to experience. Stay strong and always cherish and support your family.

I wish I knew you in real life. I feel that way about many people, I guess, but I don't necessarily mention it so blatantly. Telling you that I find you important enough to want to know is probably the biggest compliment I'll ever be able to give. Thanks for your vids, hon, and have a great day :)

Thank you for sharing that with us. I have to admit, it was pretty cryptic at times, but I understand some things we probably shouldn't know. Mystery can be a lot of fun, anyway. In a way, I enjoyed the vulnerability. It's real.
Wish you the best on this strange journey.

So wonderful Ms. Bok. Two small things that would really make this better.
    - Reverse the audio
    - A little louder so that it sounds great with headphones on
Thank you so much for putting out these videos ^ _ ^

Yeah, it's slightly disorienting watching her head on the left with the audio in the right and vice versa.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on one of Emily Dickinson's poems. She's my favourite poet along with Sylvia Plath and Elizabeth Bishop.
