I don't think we will see anything like the emergence of 50/Em ever again . I'm grateful I saw that late 90s early 00s period because it was phenomenal. Watching the music videos on TV rather than TH-cam and the internet wasn't used as much so music was more important in people's lives. There's so much content now that it's kinda diminished music.

Years later now I still bump Ja's 2nd album and I think it's up there in top 20 modern rap albums, in terms of production, lyrics, flows, and overall cohesion.
