Too much talk, and too much cutting out of important dialogues for patreon money. These so called reactions are getting more patreon trailers day by day...

You should pause the scenes when you talk. How do you rate a show when you're missing everything being said... I'm sorry but these reactions/ full on discussions during the show have been horrible. More worried about a rating than the fact that this was based on actual events.

I feel there was too much talking over the dialogue, you must have missed a lot of what was said.

The edit is really bad as well, they did not include any of the important scenes

You can go and visit "safe" areas but you can not stay that long.

Paying them? They're slaves my friend. They're "paid" with bread lines.

I admit I didn't know much about this event. The series opened conversations with my parents about their memories when it happened, and I dug deeper with a few books. It delves into the some of the political constructs in a Communist state and its influence/affect on the disaster.

You can go visit Chernobyl as a tourist. Radiation is superior to normal but not really dangerous. They won't let you go to the Sarcophagus of course, you'll be following a guide.

Yeah, too much talking over scenes. It would be better to press stop button and then comment.

The series does show the reasons why and how the explosion happens.

Most of the ppl living in the nearby city, firemen, police, military, and even nuclear plant workers didn't know or understand nuclear energy and the dangers it produced. So when the accident happened, it was just a fire that had to be put out to them. Even the doctor asking why they would have iodine pills when the nurse brought it up! Crazy thinking this wasnt all that long ago. That pile of clothes is still there today in the hospital and is radioactive. I live near a power plant like this in PA and we got iodine pills after Sept 11th in case there was an attack. They were supposed to tell us when to take them to prevent the radio active isotopes from attacking our thryoids and absorbing radioactivity after an attack. Crazy the secretness and lack of knowledge these ppl had and all to save face to the world, esp the USA

You should react to Chernobyl show vs real life footage. It shows how good of a job they did with making it look realistic.

When you are done with Chernobyl, you should check out the incredible German show Dark. It would be perfect for the discussion format you have. And it's so great there would be ALOT to talk about.

The helicopter crashed because the low visibility caused them to get too close and their rotor blades clipped the chain on that nearby crane splintering them. It immediately became unflyable and dropped like a rock.

    • @Funkyk2
      @Funkyk2 3 ปีที่แล้ว

There is footage of that in real life and you can see it clipping the crane.

At the beginning when the alarm went of at the Bielorrusian institute she said "8 miliroentgen" not "8 roetgen" so it wasn't double what they had in Chernobyl but a fraction of the amount which is why they started calling different power plants to figure out which one was leaking until they realised it must be Chernobyl 600 km away.

Damn, you are talking over all the important beats of this show. I doubt you're actually following what is happening.

i dont know you almost missed every good scene in your editing.. Legassovs outburst at the meeting plus his explenation, then you missed importand bits in the helicopter. Then you showed how the clean the truck with the high range dosimeter but not the big "its not 3,7 its 15000" Scene..

You were asking why the had no masks or gloves on, there were not any to put on, an unnecessary expense.

You two talk a lot. You also keep saying things that are just wrong, inaccurate, but you say them with authority. I notice you never show the clips that mention you said something wrong. In the process, you don't show most of any scenes that are powerful and interesting or reveal much information.

  • @a.lex_iy3140

I like you guys but you talk to much. You don't even listen to the dialogue. Maybe you can discuss it more afterwards or stop the scene.

died as a direct result of the Chernobyl accident, but five million citizens of what is now known as Russia , including three million in Ukraine, have suffered as a result of Chernobyl, and in Belarus around 800,000 people were registered as being affected by radiation following the disaster. Maybe you should watch some documentaries about what happen to fully understand all the situation.

The guy on the left has terrible reaction vids. All of the series he does are poor reactions. Talks too much. Editing bad too.
