I’m ugly crying in the club rn. Seeing Cormac and the interviewers just gives me hope cause I also struggle with ADHD but sadly I’m not surrounded by supportive or understanding people. All my life I’ve just felt misunderstood. Cormac gives me hope and aspiration to try for a better future. T_T

I don’t have a supportive/understanding family and my friends has accepted me, but find it hard sometimes. What has been the absolute best is treament and medication the last 7 years. My point is that you CAN have a future with your disiability. You are NOT your diagnose, but you have it. I work with people with special needs and I always say “there’s the person first, but keep the diagnose in mind”.
Remember what one of the interviewers said about it being a superpower! Also, don't label yourself too much! Everyone has something, and sometimes that something is part of what makes you good at things.
I've watched Heartstopper so many times at this point that not only did I get every trivia question right, I could also picture in my mind the exact scene that each quote came from.
I really like Harry's character arc later in the story. Particularly in Nick and Charlie (the novella) when Harry becomes super supportive of their relationship.
Tao also says "how dare you", in episode 4 after Elle calls him an "annoying, loud presence in my life" - that was the instance I thought of first, before remembering Charlie saying it to Nick about the mark on his hand in the first episode.
Lovely to hear about Cormac's thoughts, interests, getting to know him better and seeing his genuine adorable self! He is so much more than his character
He's just so nice and excited about everything, it's adorable. The opposite of Harry, and yet he plays him so well! I really dislike Harry, but I hope we get more of him in future seasons just so we can keep seeing Cormac being brilliant in our screens 😁 I'm sure he's gonna eat *that* scene

I love that Alice made the "bad" characters fixable, like there's a reason ben and harry are the way they are, Harry's family and insecurity, and Ben's jealousy and insecurity and fear of coming out. They aren't just villains for no reason
I'm really happy that this channel is doing the smaller actors from the series because it's so hard finding interviews of them. Kind of sad that they don't at least get invited to some of the fun interviews/game/challenges that the main cast has been on
After watching 10 times and appreciating every second of the series I think I got 100% correct by guessing the lines 🥰🥰🥰 Still streaming the interviews of the casts and watching the series on Netflix everyday
Cormac is so cute. I just got diagnosed as ADD, and I am 71. For sure it is a super-power! Our focus astounds people! Sometimes people are jealous of it. He is a good guy! I also think you are excellent interviewers. Your questions are good, and you know how to listen and make people comfortable. Brava!

He's 17 & looks younger. He's an excelent actor! I don't see any of him in his charactor. I teach at a university. mostly kids 17-20yo. Few of my students have the vocabulary & are as articulate as Cormac & the 'British" HEARTSTOPPER cast! Listening to thease kids, is music to my ears.
@@roncaron8939 agreed, he portrays his character well. My kids are actually way less articulate, but it gave me hope, even though ones the same age and ones a few years older!! Mine look awkward in their own skin and never want to stand out or be centre of attention. I tried to get them to do some drama club when they were younger to try to get them more confident, they weren’t interested, and turns out they hate English(subject!), and are more science/maths kids with a side of history!
Drama classes are excellent at bringing out self-confidence. The development of speaking skills including a good command of the English language is all part and parcel of the course.
Cormac looks MUCH younger here in this video compared with when he appears in 'Heartstopper'. Here, I would have put him at 13 maybe, or 14 years old max.
When I was waiting for him to talk Idk why but I forgot how deep his voice is and I thought he was gonna sound way different cause he looks like a baby and I freaked out when I heard his voice 😭
He seems like such a sweet kid, NOTHING like the JERK he played on the show. I think he did a fabulous job making you HATE Harry. I hope his career develops beautifully for him.
Honestly as hateable as Harry is, he did such a good job playing him, I really enjoyed his character. One of my favorite lines is when Harry mentions something about Nick being "a proper romantic" I just find it a really funny thing yo say and repeat it all the time. Cheers!
