@Stam10 an idea to unlock 'Automation' would be to build dedicated areas using all the wood types as your sorting system layout. Fir example, Spruce wood for Create components, Oak Wood for farms, Birch wood for storage etcetera. It'll allow you to create endlessly with a 'so called' limiting factor. I do something similar in my vanilla only plays.
This looks like a perfect starting spot! I think, to hammer in the point, it would be a great idea to just nuke a large amount of chunks around the islands through WorldEdit or equivalent. Now onto some challenge ideas! > For bulk blasting, you need to gather (or create, when possible) one of each of the material-rich stones : Veridium, Asurine, Crimsite and Ochrum. Alternatively, just make (and power) a pair of Crushing Wheels with a speed of at least 128 RPM. Better farm up those sheep! > Simple idea, but you need to automate something using a Minecart contraption before moving to trains of any sorts. Said contraption _must_ do something useful, so no silly block moving on a 4-tiles loop - it needs at least a Portable storage interface (or _liquid_ interface, if you feel up to the task), some appropriate storage and some working part (Harvesters, *D R I L L S* or even saws, for instance) > More of a restriction, but I'd love to see _less_ Gearbox (ab)use. Time to learn to use gears, at least until you made one Precision mechanism! (Hint: 90° angles are feasible with large gears and/or chain drives!) > And finally, just because I thought it'd be funny, it'd love to see _both_ Hot Chocolate and Builder's Tea being automated. But I don't quite know what would be the reward, beyond a well-fed and well-buffed stam, so... Perhaps limit the use of deployers beforehand? Like, the first ones crafted must be used for these automations (since it's almost impossible without) What do you think?
I'd say the Veridum, Asurine, Crimsite, and Ochrum would make more sense with locking tunnel bores, since both are ore-related. Additionally, if this isn't hard enough, which really depends on the spawning of the veins, all four have to be included in the drilling/boring machine, and the machine has to look somewhat decent, so no spamming 100 drills on the front of a minecart contraption and calling it a day after adding storage
First of all sorry for late comment ish, but spend some time thinking about them so here you have a few, and of course if you take inspiration of them you can tweak them to however you see fit as it is your personal playthrough ofc Challenge Ideas: - Kill a witch to learn how to utilise fluids (any create crafting that requires liquids in a mixer, or potion making) - Kill a witch to learn how to enchant (as they can be compared to wizards/witches period of knowledge) - Not allowed to use the schematic cannon until you have progressed a cartographer villager to max level (aka think of them as architects/engineers of construction that make plans) - Although probably to late, it would have been fun to see like the last idea, the progression of tools and machinery slowly but surely being able to be acquired, (understand that this might not really fit in that well with create), but thinking along the lines of having an anvil with a press as a hammer, to allow for the creation of iron armor and tools (forge lvl1), forge level 2 would be smth along the lines of having a water basin and a smiting furnace so that you can cool and heat items, to allow for the creation of more complicated parts such as fans, mixers, drill bits and so on - Locking the nether behind the exploration of ruined nether portals to understand how a nether portal functions, and if you want to take this up another level finding an ancient city, (centre portal) to understand the magic/the way of going to the nether - Locking the end behind the killing of all flying mobs that are somewhat easily killable (with a sword) (phantom, ghast, bat, bee, blaze (parrot, vex, allay, ender dragon are excluded as it is kind of rng if there is one on the island or not), and the wither could be decided upon your own depending on how long you wanna stay away from the end) - Bulk blasting/mass item crafting can be limited behind either of the following - Done mass trading with villagers as then you learn their technology (aka, first you build like a medieval ship as you haven't learnt the technology yet) (50-100 trades) (maybe hard to implement though, but my idea was along the lines of no fully automatic farms until you have traded with villagers (no assembly lines)) - Having access to steam power (ties in with idea down below), as that was the start of our worlds global mass production/assembly lines - It would also be fun to see a progression of civilization (don't know how it would fully work out), but the progression would be only using waterwheels until something is completed/made (for example have an kind of forge that utilises waterwheels to create larger equipment pieces to get to the next level, as in the earlier days waterwheels were connected to create an automatic hammering system onto anvils), next stage would be windmills, and so on until you reach the steam age (this would need to be refined of course, and is something to consider))
also it might be fun to look at the following creator if you are going towards industrial kinda way, as he has a world full of drilling machines, bridges, boats, and so on creator: Sbeev
Yay another Stam video! A challenge idea I had was to unlock being able to build farms and machines all over the island you have to connect them with something like a village or some buildings and a path. This would help to connect everything while also making a reason to expand from just one area! Anyway don’t know if it’s a good idea but the paths would be nice, I really enjoyed the video and can’t wait for episode 2! Also sorry for the block of text haha.
It's a starter campsite right now, but rather than tearing it down, it can be turned into a 'herders camp' which gets added to the train/cart network later on. Also worth considering making this a terraced farm area with the water running down from above, and then down further into the cove. Much more interesting to work with the natural terrain, rather than just flattening everything out, at least in my opinion.
no way, a new series from Stam! Srrsly tho, maybe you should create an elaborate build to unlock some of the simpler stuff. Like building a smeltery unlocks smelters
Additionally to the ships between islands, you could say that you aren’t allowed to transport materials off an island if you don’t have a port with ship there.
small idea for the future of the series; you could install the survival island mod and deeper oceans mod and then transplant your island onto a new world using those mods, that way theres no main land and you just have the one island
Kind of like for the mechanical saw, but you could be able to use the harvester only once you get all vanilla seeds, and maybe farmers delight seeds if you can get them by trading
Not sure what mods you have but some challenges could be: Only eat proper meals (no simple steak farm or golden carrot trading, use the crops to actually make full meals) No villager trading hall, every villager needs their own building where they exist as workers. (Multiple villagers are okay for each build, just no massive trading hall for every need in one place)
you could use ftb quests and I think there's an addon or it's base (make sure you download "item filters" though to make it so you need all items or just a certain item from a list set in the filter) where you can use "game stages" to lock items and make them uncraftable and unpickable until you unlock the gamestage with the quests
Honestly? I don't really see big conceptual difference from skyblock. Yes, you have more access to resources from the start. You sure you won't hit that wall again?
Difference is here I have a world to mould. With skyblock I have to build it all from the void. But here I have terrain to help me. If that makes sense :p
Hope you all are as excited for this new side series as I am! Let me know if you have any ideas on challenges that unlocks certain parts of the game!!
i got this comment on another vid wye stam
Maybe, you can't have any create components floting (like minecraft physics), and all of them have to be in some kind of structural suport
Can't use mechanical harvesters until you build a working windmill might be a good one
HI what's the seed ?

I think stam became obsessed with oceans. Building above an ocean in ReCreate and building on an island in the middle of an ocean here
Whaaaaat noooo…. Maybe a little
Fun mini goal you should set up a conduit underwater

Please dont abondon your series 😭 , At least give them a final 😢
i mean seriously, i understand the 2 week minecraft phase too well but goodness you kinda do this every other minute it feels
@@ApocAnarchy sigh let them have fun
I racked my brain at how to finish off the skyblock world but the motivation wasn’t there sadly. Hoping this one will have a better ending tho!
First of all sorry for late comment ish, but spend some time thinking about them so here you have a few, and of course if you take inspiration of them you can tweak them to however you see fit as it is your personal playthrough ofc

Paths is one of those things I almost always make to connect my world up as it makes it far more immersive.
Oh great another series (i love this series)
It's a starter campsite right now, but rather than tearing it down, it can be turned into a 'herders camp' which gets added to the train/cart network later on.

I am not one to just flatten an area :p
I actually really love this challenge idea! Great to know people are coming up with new ways to play create everyday!
no way, a new series from Stam! Srrsly tho, maybe you should create an elaborate build to unlock some of the simpler stuff. Like building a smeltery unlocks smelters
This video feels inspired by Fwhip’s recent move to an island series on the side. I like it though! Can’t wait for this one to continue
It very much is :) Says it in the description even
Dude just can't help himself when it comes to living in oceans 🌊
What can I say
Yay! 1am and what better to do than sleep? Watch a Stam1o video!!
That’s the way to do it!
Additionally to the ships between islands, you could say that you aren’t allowed to transport materials off an island if you don’t have a port with ship there.
With the ships between islands it comes with the fact that I have to build a port at both islands
Small challenge idea: Cant eat any food except Farmers Delight food ;)
I've of the reasons amplified causes lag is because it has many dark spots that mobs spawn in
I think the challenge for bulk blasting should be something pritty simple, like "Go to Nether" or "Create a blaze burner"
small idea for the future of the series; you could install the survival island mod and deeper oceans mod and then transplant your island onto a new world using those mods, that way theres no main land and you just have the one island
Stam posted a video! The day is immediately better!
2:39 Stam mining with a stone axe.
Challenge: Make egg fried rice, which is super easy to make, and it gives you a nice saturation buff
Part 2 is automate it lol
Kind of like for the mechanical saw, but you could be able to use the harvester only once you get all vanilla seeds, and maybe farmers delight seeds if you can get them by trading
True smart!
I think it would be a good idea to build underwater base in the middle of the island.
Not sure what mods you have but some challenges could be:
Only eat proper meals (no simple steak farm or golden carrot trading, use the crops to actually make full meals)
No villager trading hall, every villager needs their own building where they exist as workers. (Multiple villagers are okay for each build, just no massive trading hall for every need in one place)

Yeee but since it’s not a full on modpack I’d rather save time and just trust myself not to cheat :)
I love it! Can’t wait for the next one!!
Out next Thursday!
yay new series (:
pls more episods on this series its the nest series ever
Episode 2 out in a week!
In order to get diamonds, you must make an iron farm (And maybe hide a sign with 11MCM written on it 🙏🥺)
Also was that an ocean monument I saw 🤨
maybe you could make a glassblowers workshop to unlock bulk blasting? as they need to heat up glass to bend it and stuff
Glassblowers is a great idea we’ll see if it’s the right challenge tho
First thing that comes to mind is bud a massive oil rig
Could definitely be a future project in this world
I bet a Walmart and a humongous stretch of concrete parking lots would look great on this island.
Hmmm
@@Stam1oyo I’ve been watching ur vids for a while and just realized I wasn’t subscribed, needless to say that problem is now fixed my dude.
No bulk blasting until you got lava from the nether
i will stick around, hopefukky next episode is coming soon :3
Next Thursday!
@Stam1o that's very soon :3
If you ever get bored in create vs2 and clockwork can help heaps that pairs well with other addons but is alright without you can also make boats
whats going on with re create?
Nothing! Just want a side series I can record to get more videos out when Re:Create episodes are taking longer to make :)
what is the seed
idea stem for bulk blast challenge you can wait until you get a forge. like diamonds
Honestly? I don't really see big conceptual difference from skyblock. Yes, you have more access to resources from the start. You sure you won't hit that wall again?
Difference is here I have a world to mould. With skyblock I have to build it all from the void. But here I have terrain to help me.
If that makes sense :p
Challenge: build a create mod train that goes from -59 to 300 y level (and also make it look great)
for the next level of bulk blasting the challenge could be obtain x amount of blaze rods
i think the water wheels look odd because the water isn't flowing over and down it, maybe place a block so the water forms that shape
Water can flow either up and over or behind it. I tend to do behind when it comes to natural ones :)
@@Stam1o i guess it does look more natural yeah
9:09 you know what else is massive?
no vein miner on purpose? or fast leaf decay? or that too much convenience?
challenge for unlock bulk smelter? wither
I personally find veinminer takes a lot of the fun out of Minecraft. I also want a close to vanilla feel so no fast leaf decay
*another* skyblock/mini series again?
Just to get you peeps more content while I’m working on bigger projects in recreate
I do want to math during block game, thank you very much
seed please
Yippe I love create
Yippee
If i can be honest i first thought ur name was stam10
Is the SMP still happening?
Yup just want something on the side to upload when those videos are taking a bit longer
@@Stam1o 👍
Idk how about no metal/resource automation until you have a stack or ore of each ingot?
👍
The clickbait thumbnail should be illegal lmao

ooommmgg im on of the first
First
Finish at least some of your series...
Skyblock one is the only one I haven’t “finished”. It also had no real end goal so maybe this is where I decided it was finished
