Fuck,my family used to own a giant male Siberian tiger Neron since his 3 months old-it's when grandad brought him home as a lovely 10 kilogram=22lb furball which grew up into a stunningly beautiful and gorgeous male Siberian tiger that dwarfed most of his own kind nearly reaching the record of weight for Siberian tigers-he was 385kg=850lbs at his prime while record set by Jaipur is 465kg=1025lbs!And yes,Neron was aggressive as Devil which would have screwmed if he saw this guy devouring his poor Cerberus!But the thing is that he was very docile,loving and devoted to his human family,especially to grandad while this aggression was towards most of other animals that he ever encountered-especially to the other males!And those were not tolerated by Neron regardless of their size and intentions:thankfully the only place where he only could see those was when he was taken to the mating sessions to the zoo where he was once born(obviously got back home after the striped girls had enough of him),and well,due to his huge weight and power advantage when due to zoo stuff fucking up with the route from the place where grandad parked his truck to the enclosure with a female they went through a compound with several windows with rebar fences in each-that lead to an enclosure with God remembers what but the trick was that one of them lead to the enclosure with another male that rested near the fence..So immediately spotting a rival Neron just roared so loud that the entire zoo immediately went completely silent and showed in the following minute how to wreck the fence made of inch thick rebars almost out of the brick and concrete walls inside the enclosure from outside with bare paws!Literally the fence after all required major repair especially the walls which it was held into that were shattered to the point where couple of bricks were laying on the floor!And the inmate was saved by literally a miracle from Neron slamming in and inevitably killing that guy!Just after nearly breaking in he turned back to his owner and guides and meowed at grandad very loud and long demanding to let him into that enclosure or perhaps as he did on several occasions he was asking for authorisation to kill a rival(he asked for it twice when neighbour's dogs pissed him off together with his family and half of the suburb they were living in!Actually due to the fact that their owner was too dumb and careless drunkard which ignored both times the warning from grandad that if he won't shut his bitches up-the next morning Neron will handle it in his way,so that was exactly happening both times with both dogs:when Neron got his authorisation after meowing exactly the same way-less than 10 seconds later the ungodly barking got interrupted by window-shattering roar and loud crack the first time and some strange sound followed by whimping of what was left of the dog the second time!and after that both times such a long missed silence!).So when he did that he didn't get his green light though when he was thinking for a moment-his rival used that break to flee the scene and hide into the feeding chamber!So Neron lost his interest rather quickly and they proceeded further! Anyway for his family there was never a better,a more loving and devoted animal or even human being that close to any of them!

아기 호랑이들이 귀엽기도 한데 좀 불쌍하다... 태어났는데 세상은 그냥 네모일 뿐이고 저기서 평생 공간이란 걸 네모로 알고 저기서만 살아야 하는 게..
아니 저기는 그냥 임시공간이라고요 실제 우리는 훨씬 크고 넓어요... 상식적으로 서울대공원처럼 큰 동물원에서 멸종위기종 호랑이를 저런 열약한 환경에 놔둘까요?

뭔가 착각하는 댓글들이 많은데 동물원을 욕하는것보다 불법밀렵꾼들을 욕해야죠 ;; 동물원 같은거 없이 그냥 자연에 방치하면 다 잡아감 단속에도 한계가 있고
평화를 위협하는 존재는 언제나 가까이에 있게 됩니다. 동물들을 인간이 멸종시킨 선례가 상당하다는건 부정할 수 없는 사실이고 이러한 측면에서 봤을 때 인위적인 종보존은 불가피하겠습니다. 다만 자연을 생활환경으로 살아온 개체들이기에 인프라적인 부분에 있어서 발전된 처우가 필요해보이긴 하네요
근대 동물들 돌려보낼 숲이 없어요.. 멸종에 대한 대처방법 이런걸 떠나서 돌려보낼 곳이 없는걸요...? 그리고 누가 동물원 유지비가 엄청난데 시설에 투자하기 힘든건 사실이죠.. 이윤이 나와야하는데; 복지시설마냥 누가 무료로 돈투자해주는곳도아니고 ㅠㅠ 이상적인건 자연의 삶이란건 누구나알지만 돌아가기엔 이미 인간이 너무 많이 저질러버렸죠.. 그러니 지금 할 수 있는거라도 해야하는거에요

그놈의 국가차원 명분은참좋네 도움1도안될거면서 그저 말만...
체계적으로 돌보지 않으니까 문제지요ㅜㅜ 저 영상만 보셔도 아시겠지만 호랑이는 면적 1만키로를 다니며 사는 애들인데 자그마한 저런공간에 가둬놓고는 보존이라기 보단 말 그대로 보관이죠....
실제 해외 논문결과 아시아의 동물원중 제대로 된 동물의 생태환경을 챙기고 동물들의 장애가 나타나지 않은 곳은 채 10곳되지 않으며 그중 대한민국은 단 한곳도 없습니다.
낮에는 사람들 구경하라고 작은 철장은 아니더라도 밤에는 안전을 위해 안으로 집어넣는게 철직이예요.(동물의 안전이 아닌 인간의 안전이요)
그리고 동물들 풀어놓고 할곳이 없다는데 애초에 동물들은 불법으로 잡아 데리고 온아이들이 많습니다.
잘 살고있던 애들을요. 멸종위기종이라곤 하지만 말그대로 세상에 몇안남은 개채를 작은 우리에 가둬놓고 인간들의 욕구에따라 좌지우지되는게 맞는건가 싶네요...
정말 보호할 목적이었으면 해외의 생태공원처럼 사람들의 구경거리인 동물원이 아니라 나라의 지원을 받으며 아끼지 않고 온전 동물들을 위해 인간의 손이 닿지 않는 곳에서 보호하는게 맞습니다.. ㅜㅜ
