IMO it would be reasonable to give the Berlin Command Mistrals the VAB T20/13 as transports like in 5e, not ridiculous like a Gepard or the AMX-13 DCA but a nice extra AA unit, strengthening the division but staying with the limited choices-rag tag theme for it's AA.
Honestly Dragon nerf is realistic AND fitting. In the 80s a Dragon had HALF the range of a Bradley like autocannon. So IFVs were OP back then. Nowadays Javelin and other systems match the range of an autocannon so they're more fragile. So i welcome the change.
Warno isn't realistic though, BMP-1 has a range of 1575m and in reality the 2A28 'Grom' smoothbore gun is only effective to 500m, 800m at most. As I make my own mods for this game I've noticed a lot of the ranges are blanketed across vehicle types not specific to the gun itself. So the BMP-1,2 & 3 share similar ranges based on their IFV status. Which is balanced, but far from realism. Another good example is the T-55's D-10T 100mm cannon in Warno it has a range of around 1900m but in reality has a maximum range of about 14-16km it's an immensely powerful gun with a muzzle velocity of 1000 m/s just has poor accuracy.. but it's restricted to less than 2km in Warno because Warno isn't about realism it's about balance. Thus the constant adjustments and nerfs to things. If Warno was about realism I wouldn't have a need to make my own mods and adjust things lol.

Nice breakdown. Wish they didn’t try to nerf for balance, especially USA Air units which have no viable HE and CLU load outs and most lgbs are the worst. I don’t think the solution to stopping A-10 rushes is to just make the A-10 useless. I feel like Soviets didn’t change enough to see underused divs like 6-Y to see more play. Probably the best thing they could do for balance imo is tinkering with forward deploy. Seems like that’s the biggest advantage NATO has over PACT currently and such an advantage in 1v1/2v2 especially.
A-10 is definitely not useless now, the problem was the sheer amount + the fact that the gun and sidewinders would make it perform shockingly well against asf and just other planes out on the field. You still get plenty and their ATGM actually got a buff in accuracy.
@@FINSuojeluskunta I disagree. It’s incredibly slow and only has 15% ecm. They are making it more of an opener only plane now by giving it less protection from ASFs and making them less cost efficient. You effectively can’t use them for CAS as intended if your opponent has any respectable AA defense
