Unfortunately it's the quality the production team filmed it in. There's no way to improve it, we just have to ensure a better job is done by whomever is hired at future competitions.

Looks like all of the videos that have came from this comp have had fairly low video quality. Even at 1080p there is a lot of blockyness like the bitrate is super low. I also noticed the sound and the video isn't in sync, it's easy to notice when an athlete drops the bar onto the platform.
I love this channel regardless and will continue to watch the videos :) Just hope that there was a small error and this doesn't continue in the future! For instance, the 2023 European comp was flawless in comparison to this one.

If I understand the rules correctly, the athlete that lifted the weight first wins a tie. If three lifters all achieved a best lift of 95 kg, they would be ranked 1, 2 & 3 in the order that they made their lifts.

What the heck was the difference between Surodchana’s 2nd lift and Mihaela’s 1st lift? Mihaela never stopped shaking and Surodchana was barely perceptible yet Surodchana received 3 reds and Mihaela all whites ?????

I came here expecting to see a 49kg snatch and was very disappointed.
38:17 what?!? I'm a casual and this looks like a clean lift. I don't understand. The weight is up, the arms are straight (enough).
If you look at her left elbow @37:22 to @37:24 you can see it locks then unlocks. The video doesn’t help by being at such a distance, but it is noticeable.
Yeah watching the lift in real time it’s pretty obvious and easy to see. With that being said it is a STUPID rule because in real life that’s a damn good lift. We would have a lot more competition if they just relaxed the rules a little.
Luckily her coaches bought her enough time to make it in her third attempt. :)
