My boyfriend and I saw him live in concert last Valentine's Day in San Diego, CA and that was the first time I ever heard this song. Before that, I lost my grandfather, who raised me since I was a child, to a freak tractor accident where a tree fell onto him and he was with the Lord before he hit the ground off his tractor. Toby talked about how he wrote this song after he lost his father, and I cried during the entire song because evey word hit me like a ton of bricks. On our way home, our truck's front tire blew out and we went spinning out off of the freeway. I saw headlights twice and we were stopped on a cliff, and when I opened my eyes all I could see were the night sky and the stars. We made our way out of the truck and I fell to my knees and cried out to the Lord like never before. I thought of my grandmother, imagining what she would have felt if she had lost me less than 8 months after my grandpa's passing. Hysterical snd in tears, I called her and told her how much I loved her. The Lord had his hands over us that night, and I felt his spirit along with the pain remembering my grandpa and how much it hurts when we lose someone we love the most. You pray for comfort and strength and go on another day. For me, this song is exactly what love feels like.

I loss my dad when I was little and it was so hard and tough. Miss him so much he was a great father. Both of us love his songs a lot. Plus you said that he lost his dad to. out of all the concerts i've been to, the ones that feature christian artists with secular ones, ones with only secular bands, and ones with christian bands that are not popular on the radio have the best crowds. with christian concerts like these that primarily feature radio hit artists, the crowd rarely knows anything outside of the radio hits.
I know if our youth group was there we would totally be moving and be out of breath and sore afterward lol. I would have lost my voice and my legs would be sore the next day from jumping and dancing. Rock for God give it your all people! if we aren't willing to dance for God how can we willing to stand for him when in the world? Don't ever be ashamed for dancing for Christ it's the best thing ever :)
I really wish DC Talk would get back together. This song shows exactly what kind of amazing music they could put together. It wouldn't necessarily have to be permanent, they obviously have solo careers now, but one new DC Talk album would be amazing.
Every show would be sold out in minutes. I saw them at kingsfest the year they all went solo. They each played their sets to their new albums at the time.it was the best concert I have ever been to. I have signed copies of their cars along with a dc talk CD in a display case.I briefly spoke to them and told them the first time I saw them was on arsenio hall show. They looked at each other and said you saw that jokingly. All three first class people who have made music history separately and together. I wish Michael would have stayed solo.

Seeing all three of dcTalk live at GMA's this year perform this together had much more energy and presence. Maybe the crowd was waiting for Tait and Max to jump out from behind the screen. I known I was. Still enjoyed it.
It was great to hear them together again. They still sound pretty much the same, even if Toby is the main voice now and not Kevin. I loved the song and the performance; didn't know Toby's voice could go that high. Honestly, this is probably my favorite song on the album, normal and deluxe. Thought it was Move (Keep Walking) for the longest time, until I heard this song.
These guys have a crazy music chemistry that can't be denied this is great why am I just now seeing/hearing this years later shows how Christian radio is the same 20 songs over and over leaving the youth behind

Any way you look at it, if God gives you a seed of Love...nothing can overtake it and turn it into something else but what the seed de-signed it to be: Love. As with any living seed growing it all depends on the nourishment and Light it is given when it is a seed. That is what the parable of the seed is about. The different soil the seed falls on will define what the seed becomes. If the soil is rocky...that seed cannot take root and live beyond being a seed struggling to live. This is nice. A nice throwback to the edgier, high octane sound wherein each member brings a intregal but unique quality that makes the sum of their parts so much better. Much better than the basic pop driven stuff their more recent stuff has been. Not that it is bad, but this is far better.

Usually I'm more captivated by watching that I'm not dancing. I can dance at home, but I can only watch the artist at a concert so that's my priority.
