Parapex is Ozone's exclusive factory, and is where all the foil kites, tube kites, wings, twin-tips, hydrofoils, paragliders, paramotor wings and accessories are made, as well as the ever impressive wingsuits designed by Squirrel.

Had two Rush's, a Kona 2, two reserves, two harness's... about to buy a new Solos and Swift 6. This video gave me insane insight. I have always felt very safe under Ozone wings and never once have I felt the wing I was flying was underperforming for its class. The safety and the quality have been the two biggest factors in my choosing to be brand loyal to Ozone. Now, I am unsure if I will even consider another PG equipment manufacturer! You have taken design, production, and most of all, quality control and set the bar!

Super cool. I used to paraglide and would always marvel at the craftsmanship of the wing with all the internal baffles and compromise of lightest and strongest stitching. Big ups to the team in Vietnam making it happen for us. I hope they get to use the product also

awesome, come a long way from cutting SST's on the concrete floor at first and grand in Santa Ana with patterns made from strips of sheet metal glued to the floor.

I love Ozone Products. Thanks for the visit of the Ozone Factory which explains to us the Reason why Ozone Products are Soooo Gooood! I like to test products of different brands and I own 10 kites and 6 of them are Ozone! I try others and always come back to Ozone! Hahahahhaha And of course All my control Bars are Ozone! Contact Water, Race Foil etc...They are very safe plus simple to use and easy to self lunch and self land comparing to other control bars and of course Top Performance Control Bars! By testing other brands I became a proud Ozone Rider! :) I have just posted this beautiful video on a Canadian KiteForum!

In the paramotor business too many products are sold through middlemen and dealers. This adds high cost to the purchase of gliders for the working man and flying enthusiast. Can a person buy direct at the factory? I live in Thailand and would like to buy an Ozone Sirocco

I advise you to replace the zigzag stitch No. 3 with the zigzag stitch No. 6 on the seam of sewing the dome to the central long balloon. I have been using Zephyr kites for a long time since 2012 and on all models this stitching breaks on its own and I am tired of repairing it. In addition, the thread in this seam is loose and fibrous, and not dense and not twisted properly. That's why it breaks.I can send you a photo. Where should I send it?

Wow the mind boggles - just one question, all that technology... why do the Edges have a flappy trailing edge when other brands had it figured out years ago. Big company not listening to customers again...
Oh man Vietnam, I just love it. Cruising with a Vespa, taking off shoes before going inside, cheap labour. It's amazing.
Vietnam is an amazing place on many levels. We set production up in Vietnam for several reasons, primarily because of the sewing skills and the adaptability of the Vietnamese people who were pivotal in helping to apply their resourcefulness to get Parapex production off the ground in the beginning. We now employ 1000 people in the factory and all are provided with healthcare benefits, insurance and excellent working conditions, including free lunches, with improvements and developments to worker comfort taking place all the time. All are offered pathways to progress through the factory. In fact, most employees applied for a job at Parapex through recommendations of friends and family who already work in the factory. As you'll see at the end of the video, there are bonuses as well as a holidays for all with activities, dinners and days out. The conditions in the factory and the care we take for all Ozone workers, from the factory staff through the various teams around the world, is something we are most proud of, beyond the amazing products.
I think it is great that your employees have holidays. Since you are very proud, what is the average monthly wage for a vietnamese employee in your factory in USD?
It has to be fairly high regarding the skills and know how those people bring to Parapex, right?
Did you ask how much the employees are paid?

Surely the revenue of exploding Kite prices is passed on to the vietnamese labours, right? Right?

First world labour costs must be too expensive for Ozone. It´s a shame to commercialize your margin maximation process with 3rd world production lines that are even less expensive than china.
Thanks for watching the film and taking time to comment. You are right to be concerned about the welfare of the people who make the products we enjoy. We chose Vietnam as a place to open a factory because the level of sewing skills is excellent and the Vietnamese people are incredibly resourceful. Yes the average wage of Vietnam is less than Europe and the United States but Vietnam is far from a 3rd world country. We are pleased that our crazy sports do support 1000 people and their families with good livelihoods, healthcare, insurance and great working conditions. As you saw at the end of the film we have great team building events and we are all very proud of the friends and family who work to bring our customers amazing products.

It´s wonderful that you see vietnamese people as talented and able. But let´s be real, they are cheap, thats why you are there. Not only cheaper than playing european wages or US wages, but also 50% lower than chinese wages. Trying to hide it with a nice marketing video is disgusting.
Open up a factory in europe like your competitors and make a video about it.

0:59 "and faster glide speeds". NOOOOOOOO! A speed can NOT be fast. The WING can be fast and the SPEED can be HIGH but there is no such thing as a fast speed!!!
Likewise there is NO warm temperature or expensive price !!!
