I'm a little late to the party, but you I thought I'd share a little tip to ease the install of bar-end mirrors and grips. Use a little lubrication - Dish soap (or washing up liquid in the UK) works wonders I have found. 👌

Easiest way to cut the end off perfectly is to simply hit the bar end with a hammer several times. The tube will cut out that plug of rubber.
I agree. Bar end mirrors work best for me too. In fact I took off the nice big mirrors that came stock on my Juiced HyperScorpian and replaced them with bar end mirrors. I couldn't see around my body with the stock mirrors.

I bought a watch type mirror I wear on my wrist it works pretty well and you can fold it down it was very inexpensive but works well
Swapping out the standard nut for a nylon lock nut helps with all these types of mirrors
I have a small mirror for the right side. i want to still use on the trails so I don't want a big mirror . but having a right side mirror for street driving is nice.

Since I always ride on the right side of the road, I only find that I need a mirror for the left side only.

Finally some practical examples. I'm new to cycling but have ridden motorcycles too and religiously check mirrors riding or driving. It doesn't feel comfortable for me without one in busy traffic. I've been looking at bar-mounted because the bar-end photos all show their mirrors hanging way out widening the bike significantly. Now I've seen the way you are able to adjust yours inwards they look much more acceptable (not whacking into things) and there's wider availability too. Much appreciated.
e-bike mirrors are the worst. Too small for a good view behind you. Motorcycle mirrors are the way to go.

Love bar end mirrors, looking for a pair that lays flat while in my car, then resets after I pu'' it out. Saw a pair a years ago wish I bought them then
could just use a brill bit too lol, just be careful of course not to scrape the inside of the bar. Use a smaller bit size and then force the mirror inside. Probably get a tighter fit that way too since there will be extra friction of rubber inside from the handlebar end
I got the ones from your link for my Himiway Cruiser had to grind the aluminum expander down with a belt sander. Like them alot but they are heavy. I got a single Hafney bar end for my Biktrix Ultra since Im trying to keep it light and its works fine too. Thanks for the videos.
Yeah I've never had much luck with the aluminum expanders.

I use Mirrycle MTB Bar End Mountain Bicycle Mirror and only put it on the left. On Amazon for about $16.
It may be a little wider, but I only use one, have not had any problem with them. This one is not metal, is a resin material. Never had these loosen on me.
I saw your video months ago about accessories on your 2018 model and bought a set of those mirrors from Amazon I had to take the nut off and put Teflon tape on the threaded part to keep it from turning when I tightened it down, but it seemed to work okay
I have a question I have a Cyrusher Kommoda and the are saying that I can not put bar-end mirrors on it??? To me it looks like the are caps on the ends of the bar???

My problem is that I keep my bike indoors, and mirrors make it too wide for doorways. I went with a rear view camera, and mounted it on my rear rack taillight. Have you tried one? Seems weird at first, but mine works well, and has infrared night vision as well.
I have not added any cameras to my bike. Other than my GoPro of course.
I've bought 3 mirrors so far and they don't come with rubber ends anymore. The pair you suggested aren't available any more! Help guys!

I have been using bar end mirrors off of motorbikes for about 6 years now, they are about £60 pounds a pop, They are also very heavy, but the mirrors that you show are no good for drop handle bars that i can see, can you clarify this for me please ?.

i bought a bunch of the MZS tuning mirrors until they changed the product and now they dont work well. the last 2 sets i bought were by Hafny but they have a rounded mirror so they arent my favorite. i've been struggling to find a new set i like.
