    Supreme Court will continue to hear the batch of petitions concerning the irregularities in the NEET examinations.
    A bench headed by the Chief Justice of India had on the last occasion observed that the cancellation of the undergraduate National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2024 in its entirety was an “extreme last resort” as it affected the lives of over 23 lakh students who wrote the prestigious exam for medical admissions across the country.
    However, the bench concluded that the fact that questions were leaked, and the sanctity of the exam was compromised was “beyond question”.

    A double decker flyover that could mitigate the traffic woes at the infamous silk board junction in Bengaluru is awaiting inauguration as the public continues to suffer at this traffic gridlock.
    The flyover which was supposed to be thrown open to the public is being delayed as the Bengaluru Metropolitan Railway Corporation Limited (BMRCL) is awaiting a nod from the government for the inauguration. The flyover work began in 2018 and the work was completed in June 2024.
