I do agree it's not the ideal setup for a toy hauler. I see why they did it in this one, though. There's not really good places for cabinet venting in this model. They kept the floor vents out of the garage thankfully & have them in a direct-line track to make sure they're effective at least.

I love it. Exactly what I’m looking for. I’m getting this from you guys. What do they run? Also can you upgrade the curtain between the patio and the camper?

Love, love, love these smaller toy haulers. Wife and I want one, but we're having a bit of an issue that maybe you, a far superior RV person, could answer. What is the smallest toy hauler available that is (a) tandem axle, and (b) has that electronic bed/bench thing in the rear? It's just the wife, me, and the little 1 year old so it doesn't have to be "all the craziness."

So I can do to keep up with all the trailer things and clerical responsibilities that I have on a daily basis From the factory you can get 100 white package. I will leave you can add a second hundred white panel. Beyond that I do not know what the gauges of wiring can support
Thanks for the videos, Question I have 2022 Colorado 3.6, 7000 lbs tow capacity. Curb weight for the truck is 4520 lbs. It is only my wife and I in the truck pulling a 950lbs motorcycle. Is this a good fit ? Thanks for your help.
@@martindavies4791 Partially due to size. It’s a little bit large for medium size pick up. It will assert its presence against you on the road. But also weight. The GVW of this trailer is greater than your maximum tow capacity so it’s possible you could be overloaded. Even if not, then you’re going to be extremely close to your max. It feels like burning the candle at both ends and sweating bullets while doing it
Question. Deck deployed, chairs in position, cup holders occupied and then mother nature tosses in a massive downpour. Are the materials used for the deck and deck attachment areas designed to be able to handle some "heavy moisture"?
Jayco actually uses azdel on the drive-on layering of their ramp doors. I should've talked about that. Ideally you definitely want to get it closed ASAP. But if you got hit by a freak downpour then close it up and towel it down. You'll be fine.
Apologies Randy I do not have a detailed spec sheet available to me at this time & we are out for the holiday weekend. I would welcome you to contact our team members Tuesday after the holiday. They can go to work getting you some answers.
I’ve never seen those available on anything except extra tall and wide toy hauler doors. I don’t believe a supplier is currently creating anything for smaller models like this
Jayco doesn't have one smaller than this currently. But Wildwood/Cherokee do. You can see those here: → Wildwood/Salem: bit.ly/3ybuiFA → Cherokee: bit.ly/3DVJau8
Jayco actually uses azdel on their ramp doors, but this is a conventionally constructed camper -- not an azdel laminated model. They do not offer this layout in an azdel laminated style model
@@JoshtheRVNerd My wife and I really enjoy your review videos! We’re going to be retiring in a few months and are interested in something like this camper that can also handle our Harley and kayaks.
It may not be as obvious on camera but this is a smaller size that doesn't quite fit that feature. It's not impossible to fit a power drop bed, but you couldn't clearly walk under it That's one of those big differences between something like this which is a normal camper with a ramp vs. a true toy hauler
You need to usually find a longer length to have the room for it. Private garage models are popular, but they HAVE to be longer/heavier/more expensive. Small campers like this have an "open garage" which is great for length/weight/cost, but means everything kind of overlaps.
For the bedroom or garage? Are you talking about one of those fancy fifth wheel toy hauler three season door/wall things? I'm not sure any supplier makes a kit that fits this ramp door opening. I've never seen one at least. I'd have to ask our service team to do some digging

Those cables holding it up? There's just pins securing those cables to the ramp deck. So you fold the ramp gates out of the way, lower the ramp, and load up!
Are the speakers in the awning?
Yep yep!
Dove tail rear entry for low MC's like Harleys. Hand rail for rear steps?
I think if this were a larger class hauler, then you'd see those things. I would agree they're good features for any hauler though
I love it. Exactly what I’m looking for. I’m getting this from you guys. What do they run? Also can you upgrade the curtain between the patio and the camper?
I run the cameras and keyboards here so I'm not well versed in pricing. If I had to wing a WILD guess then maybe high 20's? Don't quote me on that as it's really outside of my pay grade lol. Sales team can verify specifics
No *factory* rear curtain swap options. Aftermarket accessories could offer about anything though
Take a peak here m.th-cam.com/video/jWMJL3Hp16o/w-d-xo.html
It does simple small yet big and tall I want the same time pretty well
can you add a trailer hitch to the back
Not from the factory. Aftermarket fabrication is possible
No medicine cabinet ...or at least on mine.I suggest you have either a Titan XD or 3/4 ton.Its heavy and catches a lot of wind.Im moving down and I've got a Tundra V8.Laid out well though. Also, a Honda 700 ain't gonna fit.Stupid tv cabinet on left side.
Yeah that’s something I would like to see them change at some point
can the patio be fully enclosed......its open at the steps in video
Yes - I leave partially open to help move the camera into that area w/o being visually blocked sometimes
Very nice rig. Thank you, Josh. Can you tell us how long the table is? And how long the couch beds are? I’m thinking six feet but would like to be sure. Thank you, keep up the great work.
Table is around 4ft long & benches are 60" wide
What is the current caring capacity of the solar prep?
I apologize in advance because I’m still very much and have us in terms of solar things. So I can do to keep up with all the trailer things and clerical responsibilities that I have on a daily basis
From the factory you can get 100 white package.
I don’t feel like I would pair them myself
Any reason why ?
@@martindavies4791 Partially due to size. It’s a little bit large for medium size pick up. It will assert its presence against you on the road.
But also weight. The GVW of this trailer is greater than your maximum tow capacity so it’s possible you could be overloaded. Even if not, then you’re going to be extremely close to your max. It feels like burning the candle at both ends and sweating bullets while doing it
where can i buy this sofa plsss?
What's the height width and how long from hitch to rear? Thanks
All specs at the start of the video for you!
This is the best camper I've ever seen . How do you get on the roof to do a roof inspection ? Is it a walkable roof.
Like most things in this class you’ll need a separate ladder to get to the walkable roofing
@@JoshtheRVNerd so the roof is walkable without like laying plywood down to distribute the weight ?
@@howard977 Correct. We do not currently sell any new travel trailers or fifth wheels without fully walkable roofing
Is this available with a thermal package?
It is not. Just a basic-level camper that doesn’t have access to higher end features like that
Will a Honda Pioneer 700 fit in there.61"w×80"h ×115" L.weighs about 1365.
Apologies Randy I do not have a detailed spec sheet available to me at this time & we are out for the holiday weekend. I would welcome you to contact our team members Tuesday after the holiday. They can go to work getting you some answers.
Hey Josh when are you gonna have a price up on your website? This is just what I need for my Harley Trike.
Hoping tomorrow buddy
Can you get the 3 season patio doors
I’ve never seen those available on anything except extra tall and wide toy hauler doors. I don’t believe a supplier is currently creating anything for smaller models like this
@@JoshtheRVNerd ok. Thank you so much for your time.
WoW”
What’s this ones “step down”?
Jayco doesn't have one smaller than this currently. But Wildwood/Cherokee do. You can see those here:
→ Wildwood/Salem: bit.ly/3ybuiFA
→ Cherokee: bit.ly/3DVJau8
Is the bed a full Queen size?
Short Queen -- 60" x 74"
can it fit a can am side x side 2 seater?
Give our team a call with some measurements on your SXS and we can find out! Often on these you’re lacking in entry door clearance
Is a heated enclosed underbelly available in this model?
Enclosed: Yes.
Heated: No. Not on these "SLX" models.
The full "Jay Flight" and Octane models can have heated bellies
@@JoshtheRVNerd like the Jayco 222?
Where do you put the dump hose??
Either a tote dedicated to sewer items or could easily add one of those handy tube holders
@@JoshtheRVNerd a tote will take a considerable chunk of space in the cargo area
Do thay have it with azdel???
Jayco actually uses azdel on their ramp doors, but this is a conventionally constructed camper -- not an azdel laminated model. They do not offer this layout in an azdel laminated style model
Do the rear couches not go together to make a large bed?
There's a gap between them for individual sleepers.
@@JoshtheRVNerd so what you're saying is... It's not a bug is a feature 😂
I didn't hear how much it weighs. That's usually one of the first things you present in a video. I'll be pulling with an Avalanche.
Comes in just high or just shy of the 5,100lb mark
@@JoshtheRVNerd Thanks! When I listened again, you said it right up front...I need to go clean out my ears...
@@cliffkelley2963 No problem. I do the same thing to my wife ALL THE TIME lol
@@JoshtheRVNerd My wife and I really enjoy your review videos! We’re going to be retiring in a few months and are interested in something like this camper that can also handle our Harley and kayaks.
No drop down queen in the garage? Bummer. Is there anything under 30’ that has a ramp/patio with a drop queen?
It may not be as obvious on camera but this is a smaller size that doesn't quite fit that feature. It's not impossible to fit a power drop bed, but you couldn't clearly walk under it
That's one of those big differences between something like this which is a normal camper with a ramp vs. a true toy hauler
@@JoshtheRVNerd I see that now. Anything that Bish has that’s comparable to the StarCraft Autumn Ridge 25TH?
@@Blue99Si Jay flight 265th and wildwood 260rt qualify
But grey wolf 26rr is the one they’re all copying
How much is the jay flight?
Pricing here www.bishs.com/rv-search?stocknumber=236th
I hardly ever see a toy hauler layout that you don't have unload the motorcycles to use the camper ?
You need to usually find a longer length to have the room for it. Private garage models are popular, but they HAVE to be longer/heavier/more expensive. Small campers like this have an "open garage" which is great for length/weight/cost, but means everything kind of overlaps.
Is it me or is that fridge a little high??
Might just be a visual thing as it’s not really much different from most any trailer?
Josh, can the sliding solid doors be added to this unit after market? Would increase use ability many fold. Great job as always!
For the bedroom or garage? Are you talking about one of those fancy fifth wheel toy hauler three season door/wall things?
I'm not sure any supplier makes a kit that fits this ramp door opening. I've never seen one at least. I'd have to ask our service team to do some digging
how much
We're sold out currently from what I can see so I have nothing to reference. I'm but a humble keyboard jockey lol
Our team at 800-256-5196 can assist with figures for incoming models or quotes for personal builds!
@@JoshtheRVNerd without getting into all that can you not give me a round about price? i’m trying to compare models.
@@zoomba31 I'm sorry -- I just work in a different capacity here. I don't have a good bead on it
A complete wild guess would be in the high teens but again -- I'm completely estimating here
Not trying to be a wet blanket but I couldn't take any more of your delivery style. I'll watch somebody else's walk thru.
How do you keep the cold air in? There's no hard door on the back once you flip the deck down.
