Not according to the internet if you went on it during this era. I swear people have been saying "SNL hasn't been funny in 10 years" for about 40 years
Unfamiliar with when he stated it, just curious if there is a reason you stated An as opposed to A. It being in all caps made me feel it was intended, but to my knowledge it's not the proper usage. Not trying to be as pedantic as I am, or snarky. Just genuinely curious.
I haven't seen much of the OG SNL episodes from the 70s or whatever and the Will Ferrell ones are amazing. But the cast from this era feels like family because I saw them in my formative years. Especially after Bobby Moynihan joined and Kenan reached the peak of his comedy powers. Nowadays, SNL does well of course, but I've lost that magical connection. Feels like it's time for a new generation to build their own memories with the show
This is the era I grew up on. I didn’t watch that much post 2013. Andy had already left, Seth was going to leave in 2014 for Late Nite. I was lucky that I was able to watch/fall asleep to SNL pretty much every Saturday night. When Lazy Sunday came out, Dear Sister, I Ran So Far. You name it. In my opinion, 07-10 were my favorite years. Though at the time, some people bitched about how it wasn’t as good was the previous generation etc.
recuerdo leer un poco el libro de Amy Poehler donde hay un capítulo en el que Seth Meyers habla sobre cómo la conoció antes de que entrara a SNL y fue un fanboy. Tan lindo.
9 minutes into James Franco's Saturday Night film so far - this is 6 minutes past Fair Use, dude! Where is his name & film title in your description, at least?!
Tourist trap or lives up to the hype? IMHO, the answer is both: from a $$ perspective Katz is a tourist trap, but from a food perspective it does live up to the hype.
At the time they were considered horrible and not as funny as the Mike Myers 90's cast... the 90's cast at the time was considered horrible and not as funny as the Eddie Murphy 80's cast ... the 80's cast at the time was considered not as funny as the original 70's cast. Andy’s hair was its own cast member
This was the generation of SNL I grew up with and these people really helped shape my sense of humor particularly the Lonely Island and Bill Hader

I remember the consensus being SNL "sucked" back then and "wasn't as good as it used to be". Just goes to show you the beauty of hindsight
I still think of Chris Parnell as Dr. Leo Spaceman
Kristen is the best at not knowing where this is going but always finished strong.
‘Paula I promised I wasn’t going to cry’ hearing Paula’s cackle after 😂
I wish I was home on Saturday nights to watch. It’s so awesome to catch up. ♥️😂👍🏼
Ah, yes
