Not late at all in my opinion. There are still fish moving in from the lake so the whole month of October is looking like it'll be a very good one. By that time you'll have a good shot of getting into the runs of steelhead and browns too! - Zana
Great tips Z... one thing that can be intimidating for new people on the river is all the different holes/sections. Would like to see a video on your overview of the river.
You mean specific holes and slips or an overview of the best technique for fishing areas depending on which type of river slow they are. (holes, slips, fast or slow water, etc.) ? - Zana
Great video, thanks a lot! it is fantastic to watch a true professional and dedicated person sharing her insights. I wish you lots of success in your business and look forward to seeing your new videos.
Totally forgot about the ceramic parts nice tips! Any way to replace them on my own? I have some older Shakespeare rods with damages to the tip and ceramics.
The tips are fairly easy to replace yourself but wrapping eyes are a different story and take some time and are a skill to learn to do properly. - Zana
You can replace the eyelets & only rewrap one side. carefully cut the thread on one side of the guide pull it out of the other side, insert the new one into open space with a little varnish on it ,rewrap the part you cut Varnish and done !
Always great advice... can you do a video on safety. Like glasses always on. How to get snags out. Dont grab the fishing line when the fish is screaming up or down and line is crossing you boots. Just a few I'm sure you know more. Thank you and see you on the 2nd
Hello I like you video I’m going to Polanski this month for my first time I will like to get some ideas about this river this Cris from TFCO Adventures fishing
Thanks alot!! You helped me find the reason why I kept breaking my line so easily! Guide was like a razor blade from split shot ! Looking forward to a better year in Anchorage alaska with my favorite rod with repaired tip!
its an option but not the best option because there are so many people and you can cut them to the bone, as well as snapped off braid will snag everyone's hook fishing mono and it creates huge birdnests underwater.
Timely. Don't do much salmon fishing but, when I try it's in Pulaski's area. The tips given here apply generally, IMO, and I will apply to my gear that has been neglected for years. Happily back into fishing!
Great video😊
It's time to check all this stuff again. Fish are trickling in. Great video.
Outstanding review!
I have just meet her she’s so adorable. Thanks for a picture 🙏🙏🙏
You’re welcome! Hopefully the poles I set up for you work out. - Zana
Another great video, we learn something new with each one. Thank you, please keep it up.
Been a busy fall for me. Only chance to get to the river is October 15th weekend. Too late or no?

Great advise I seen a guy hook up 4 or 5 times a few days ago at the upper fly zone and that is exactly what happened to him, he found out finally.
What hooks? Could you do videos for all the boys who post from up there?
You mean which size hooks to use or style of hook? - Zana

Do you think Braid might be an option to use?

I checked my rod this year and had to replace the tip
I’ll run a Qtip thru the eyes, if there are any nick’s it will show up.
